About David Danemann
My wife Pam and I are newlyweds, I have lived on the property where the vacation home is rented since 2005. I am born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. The home was built in 1995 as a separate mother in laws house, I purchased the home in 2012 for my mother to eventually live in however she decided to move into a retirement community. We have been renting this home as a vacation rental for over a year and are really enjoying offering it as a lovely place to stay for guests visiting Albuquerque. My home is located to the west about 50 yards from the vacation home. I enjoy various hobbies/activities such as construction, welding, cycling, inland surfing and cooking.

Why David Danemann chose Los Griegos
In 2005 the family who built the home we offer as a vacation rental sold that home and sold the adjacent home which is the home we live in. I purchased my residence as a remodel/flip, after remodeling the home I live in as well as a few other homes in Albuquerque I decided to rent out the remodeled home. After renting it for 4 years I decided to move into it as my residence. Moving here was a necessary evil. I quickly fell in love with this area of Albuquerque, the funky converted farmland to plots for homes and several infill communities makes for an unusual but interesting neighborhood. In 2012 I purchased the other home which was built as a completely separate mother-in-laws home. After having it serve as a rental home for a few years I decided to try something new. As a vacation rental it is a perfect fit. Guests love the home, the area and everything the property has to offer such as a full gym, daily fresh eggs and the Skydeck. Hopefully you choose this home for your trip, you won't be disappointed.
What makes this House unique
The North Valley of Albuquerque is where farming was prominent back in the day, There are acequia's all around here since it is close to the Rio Grande River. The land where my home and the vacation home was built on used to be a large community farm in the 50's and 60's, one day a peach tree popped up in my backyard which must have been from the farming days. Around this area you can walk the irrigation ditches to see birds, drive 5 minutes to the bosque trail that gives you a nice trail through the magnificent cottonwood trees and drive 10 minutes to Old Town the birthplace of Albuquerque. Its peaceful, quiet and secure here. I have a full gym setup in a separate building if you like to stay active and the Skydeck is lovely for sunrise coffee or a sunset glass of wine. Most mornings you can see a few hot air balloons flying.

Perfect location, clean, cute and safe
This home was very comfortable to stay in. It was great for our toddler, dogs and grandpa that needs easy access. Couldn’t believe how clean the floors were as well. The gym was also nice to use too. The location is close to all our favorite restaurants, museums and shops.
Couldn’t ask for more. The home was in a great location with easy access to the North Valley, West Side, or Old town. Home was clean and well appointed. The property is gated which is a nice plus. Would definitely stay here again.
comfortable convenient home
Home is as pictured. Owner responds promptly. He lives nearby but not intrusive. Home is clean, comfortable and spacious. Easy drive to local attractions. The chickens are not bothersome. The nearby church bells ring most days at 0800.
Beautiful home, great location
David is one of the most professional and kindest homeowners we have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is caring, concerned, honest and welcoming. The information left for us upon our arrival was just perfect.
When we asked if we could have some people over late one evening to continue our wedding celebration, he responded with "party on", instead of the usual 20+ questions.
If we ever visit Albuquerque again, we will be staying at this property.
Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the Sandias, and very helpful owners.
The home was very comfortable, great beds, nice kitchen with new appliances, well-furnished patio areas outside for relaxing, and watching the balloons in the morning, and a good space for our grandpuppies to be outside. Patio is shaded during warmest parts of the day.
Owners are next door and respond promptly if needed, but give you plenty of privacy and space.
Wonderful stay, we will be returning next fall for sure!
Very clean, private and pet friendly.
The gym and the observatory platform were nice perks. House was great
