Why Daniel Aubry chose Beacon
Ever since first visiting Beacon in 2003, I had my eye on this property. When the opportunity of acquiring it from a Bacon arose I jumped on it. It was in derelict condition and a gut renovation was required but the end result was well worth all the effort and expense. The house is now a little gem !
What makes this Cottage unique
Even though on a small lot and with neighbors nearby the house feels totally private and removed from it all. It has a privacy fence around it and on the side where the deck is a sheer drop to acres of flood plain bordering the creek.

Nice quiet relaxing stay
Great location to town. Quiet block with nice helpful neighbor across the street . Comfortable master bedroom and nice spa like bathroom with great water pressure and hot water! Owner available to answer questions and flexible check in/out . Nice big kitchen table. Gas stove was great.
Bungalow is on a cul-de-sac adjoining an abandoned old bridge over the creek.
Beacon is home to DIA, the largest contemporary art museum in the country. Loads of artists make their home here. There is a lively bar and music scene.
