2 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 6
When you stay at View Catcher, you’ll never be bored! This 2-bedroom, the 3-level cabin has its own pool table (which converts into a ping-pong table), foosball table, air hockey game, 12-game arcade, and outdoor hot tub, among (many) other amenities. What’s more, in the summer you’ll have free access to a swimming pool. And of course, you’re just minutes away from hiking, skiing, amusement parks, restaurants, shops, and so much more.
The first thing you’ll notice, once you step past the covered front porch that spans the width of the log cabin, is how welcoming the main living area is. With its planked floor and walls, beamed cathedral ceiling, and stone-surround gas fireplace, the open-plan living/dining/kitchen area invites you to kick off your shoes, sink into the plush sofa or recliner, and make yourself at home. There’s room for the whole family to gather, whether it’s to watch TV, play one of the board games left in the cabin for your use, or sit down for dinner together at the table by a window. Even when you’re in the kitchen—which is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you could need—you’ll be able to keep up with the conversation in the sitting area or keep an eye on the little ones as they watch a favorite DVD.
Once you see the downstairs game room, however, you’ll probably want to spend much of your time there. You won’t have to worry about how to keep the kids—or yourself!—entertained should rain force you to cancel your plans to go hiking or zip-lining. As well as billiards, ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, and arcade games, the game room has a CD/stereo and a large flat-screen TV with DVD. There are 2 comfortable sofas too; one of them converts to a bed for 2, so that View Catcher can sleep 6 people in all.
The game room opens onto the lower deck. There’s also a deck above it, providing 2 spots for you to gaze at the spectacular view of the dense woods and the Great Smoky Mountains. Sit back on one of the rockers, let the fresh mountain air envelop you, and relish the beauty and serenity. Or better yet, savor the view from the lower deck’s hot tub. It’s especially magical—and romantic!—at night, as the stars twinkle above and the moon plays hide-and-seek among the clouds.
Each of View Catcher’s 3 floors has its own bathroom, which will make getting everyone ready in the morning so much easier—no waiting for your turn to wash up! Fresh towels will be ready and be waiting when you arrive, and the beds will be freshly made-up as well. If upon arrival you need a shower or a nap, you can go right ahead without having to unpack your bags first.
One of View Catcher’s 2 bedrooms is on the main floor; the 2nd is in the loft. Both rooms are impressively spacious, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage, a ceiling fan, and a TV with DVD. Being the only room on the loft level, the upstairs en-suite bedroom provides maximum privacy. The main-floor bedroom has an advantage of its own: a jetted tub in a private alcove. While the others are battling it out in the game room, you can pamper yourself with some five-star alone time.
View Catcher is located in the gated Settlers Ridge community, and when you stay in the summer you’ll have free access to its swimming pool. But any time of year you’ll find plenty of other activities just a short drive away, thanks to its prime location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There’s the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for starters, with its hiking trails, horseback riding, waterfalls, and wildlife ranging from black bears to white deer. Another option is the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 crafts shops, studios, and galleries. And let’s not forget Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski area…
Then again, even if spend most of your time at the cabin, with its amenities and stunning views, you’re bound to have a fabulous time. So don’t delay: Reserve your stay at View Catcher today, and get ready for your best vacation yet!

Stunning view! Great cabin!
We took a very last minute, long weekend trip! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was wonderful and in a great location. The view was perfect! Only a few things could have made it better, but for the price (50% off) in the off season, we will definitely go back!!
Thank you Brian for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
This cabin was great for my family of 4.This property is managed by a property company and they did an awesome job from start to finish. It was smaller than the places we typically rent when in the area, but the game room made up for the lack of space on the second level. The property is way up in the mountains, but you have a great view. The location was accessible to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Be prepared for the driveway which is fairly long and steep, you can't turn around and must back out when you leave.
Thank you for staying with us Stuart and for taking the time to share. Come stay with us again.
Can't beat the view & the cabin was better than expected.
The bad: neighbor behind the house partied like a frat house... howling like coyotes and screaming like horrible horror film actresses for 3 nights. The upper loft bedroom wouldn't cool down. Game room sleeper sofa is not usable as the springs are basically pressed against the fabric making it impossible to sleep on, but the futon sleeper down there was perfect. The good: pretty secluded at the end of the street and up a hill which was awesome and yet close enough to get what u need. The best views I've ever seen while at a cabin. Very clean and we'll equipped. Worth the money for sure. It really is a very nice home I don't think you're going to get a nicer place to lay your head for the money. Thanks View Catcher! I'll be back!
Thank you RE for sharing a thoughtful review. We look forward to having you stay with us again on your next trip to the Smokies.
