Cozy Tahoe cabin with rustic elegance and modern comfort in fantastic location
Beautifully remodeled in 2016, this is a picture perfect woodsy Tahoe cabin with rustic elegance. The location is fantastic, directly across from the National forest and close to family friendly activities (hiking, biking, skiing, Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, and Camp Richardson). This cabin is perfect for couples, families, and furry friends (well behaved house trained dogs; the property is fully fenced). Every effort has been made to provide a cozy bed and breakfast like experience. The cabin has been set up with a brand new fully equipped kitchen and luxurious spa like main bathroom, entertainment center, an additional full bathroom in the master bedroom, and brand new beds and down comforters. Enjoy a long soak in the oversized main bath tub. There is an entry way mud room efficiently setup to store wet helmets, gloves, ski boots, and jackets. Each bedroom has an individual wall heater, which allow personalized temperature settings. There is a large flat screen TV in the family room with a DVD player, and a selection of DVD's and games. This cabin is a tranquil place to relax as a couple or family in front of the cozy fireplace or enjoy the new 6 person hot tub.
The location is fantastic, situated on a very quiet street, directly across from a National Forest. Walk or ride your bikes directly to the many beautiful Camp Richardson trails, the best beaches in Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, or Rainbow Trail. Visit the historical buildings in Camp Richardson to take in some of Lake Tahoe's history. Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe ski resorts are a very short drive away, as are Casinos if you want to test your luck.
Cabin sleeps 6.
** NEW SLT CODE: Maximum 2 cars allowed in the driveway ONLY, no street parking, no excessive noise outside after 10pm. $1,000 fine for both renter and owner for violation **

About Steve Sorensen
My wife and I (Steve & Lisa), met in college at UC Berkeley 28 years ago and were married in 1994. After completing our studies, we moved back to my home town of Santa Rosa in 2001. We are blessed with two great kids, one dog, and 4 cats. Lisa is an OB/GYN physician, and I am an IT professional. The spectacular nature of Tahoe has made it our favorite family vacation spot, and we had dreamed of buying a cabin in Tahoe for many years. We found the perfect match in our favorite neighborhood, an older cabin with loads of character and charm. We spent the next 9 months completely renovating it. We kept all the wood cabin charm, but provided all the modern conveniences you could want. Over the years, we have rented many Tahoe cabins and stayed in adorable B&B's which have been our inspiration throughout the renovation. Our goal is to provide charm, attention to detail, and comfort in a cozy cabin setting.

Why Steve Sorensen chose South Lake Tahoe
We focused our cabin search on the Garden Mountain neighborhood, a fantastic location directly across from the National Forest. The cabin is located on a quiet street surrounded by nature, where you can walk or bike right out the front door and visit Lake Tahoe, Camp Richardson, beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, Fallen Leaf Lake, hiking trails, and more... Amazing skiing at Heavenly is just a 10-15 minute drive away. Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood are also easily accessible, providing a great variety of skiing and boarding opportunities.
What makes this Cabin unique
Lisa and I are new to vacation renting, and want to make this a wonderful experience for our guests. We strive to make this a vacation get a way that you will inspire you to make this your vacation home of first choice!
