Open concept Living room with elec fireplace for cozy winter nights, and kitchen/dining area bistro bar top for meals, fridge, stove & dishwasher, with full bathroom (shower & bath) and walk-in large storage closet at entrance. It has a large balcony for day or evening dining with a million dollar view of Central Memorial Park with it's colourful lighted fountains, trees, flower garden with Calgary's downtown city lights as a backdrop!br

The condo comes with internet/wifi. Also a large 42" flat screen TV, Smart DVD BluRay player with a Netflix & Amazon Prime account set up for watching movies & your fav TV shows. as well as access to Youtube documentaries.

All dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, toaster, towels and bed linen. All you need is your toothbrush!

The condo building includes an indoor salt water swimming pool, gym, dry sauna room, and coin laundry facilities (easy access from elevator).

The condo is located in the best location in Calgary. It is central to everything.. literally 2 blocks in any direction will bring you to what Calgary has to offer! 2 blocks is the downtown, CORE shopping centre, Holt Renfrew, Bankers Hall on Stephen Ave (old sandstone Calgary ave full of shops, restaurants, hotels) famous steakhouses, saloons. 2 blocks east is 1st Street cafes, the Stampede & Saddledome (4 blocks) 2 blocks south is 17th Ave (Redmile) restaurants, pub patios, festivals, 4ht Street SW shops, boutiques. Grocery stores, markets, pharmacies, dry cleaning, post office. Right beside the condo building is medical clinic, and in the park is a library. Free outdoor tennis courts 1 block east on 2nd St. Going 2 blocks south on 1st Ave is the Catholic church and behind it the Talisman Centre (gym/pool/fitness) and little Elbow River Park and all the running, cycling, roller blading trails that link up all over Calgary to the Stampede, the Bow River, south to more parklands, outdoor swimming pools, river tubing etc.

There is free street parking all around the block. Possible secured parking could be arranged if given enough notice ($10-15/night). Or there is free overnight parking in my building from 5pm-7:30am & all day Sat/Sun/Holidays.

Why Natalie chose Southwest Calgary

I LOVE Calgary! Its such a fun city! The city views at night are amazing, with the park fountains lit at night, and the day views overlooking the park and the fountains are beautiful, even in the winter, they put xmas trees in the fountains and lights all over the trees.. so pretty. Restaurants & pubs with patios all around within 2-10 min walk, 17th Ave, 4th Street, 1st Street, 8th Stephen Ave, Core Shopping on 8th Ave, Elbow River biking trails, Bow River trails. Everything is literally located within a 4/5 block radius! :)

PARKING: Restricted times during the day for free parking: I do provide free parking OVERNIGHT only M-F 5pm-7:30am and free parking all day Sat/Sun/Stat Holidays. Or there is metered street parking during the day, however free street parking overnight from 6pm-9am. However, If you DO NEED a DEDICATED parking space for all day you will need to give me some notice to try to locate a spot in our building, which usually costs $20/day. Located in such a central location that a car is not needed, you can walk to pretty much everything within 4 block radius. The overground C-Train transport in the downtown area located on 7th Ave, takes you through downtown and to the outskirts of the city centre.

No smoking permitted. No pets allowed in the building. NO parties, this is a professional building with mostly owners residing in it. No extra guests to be brought into the suite to sleep over, it is a one bedroom condo and suitable for 1 person or a couple. If you have a third guest that sleeping on the sofa, you must disclose this in the booking. No other businesses allowed to operate out of the condo. The building has a manager onsite, there are security cameras throughout the building & the front entrance is a double secured entrance with security fobs.
Entrance Security:
Please DO NOT LET ANYONE ELSE in the building, CLOSE THE DOOR behind you. Even if someone is behind you and they say they live there, do not think it rude, close the door, as they must also use the security fob to get in. There is a $500 fine if you let someone in.. and there is a video camera. This is standard security practice with all condo buildings especially in the down town area these days. True Residents will appreciate the diligence you have taken to make sure their building/home is secure. Thank you :)

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
