Awesome place! Very easy check-in and check-out. Hosts are incredibly responsive, we received all the information we need prior to our arrival. Well equipped apartment, and a great location. Highly recommend staying here!
This is indeed a rainforest apartment as pictured! We really enjoyed the beautiful and lush gardens around the property with magical lighting and sounds at night. The apartment was clean, colorful, and comfortable. Check-in was easy, parking very convenient and private. We really enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again if we returned to the Big Island.
This place was great and unique in a good way! Clean. The owner had a lovely garden to enjoy. There is a grocery store down the road about 10 minutes. Home and kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Even a cooler to borrow for day trips.
We loved our stay overall. It was so nice going to bed listening to the frogs. Our apt was adorable and the hosts were very nice.

We couldn't have had a better stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, well-maintained and very comfortable. Kepi was a wonderful host. The location is excellently placed between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. Highly recommended!
Kitchen had everything I needed. Shopping for anything/everything was within 2 miles. Depending on you activities, the apt. Is relatively close. Volcano National park was 30 miles away and an easy drive. Kepi even alerted me that the volcano became active. What an exciting event that was. The apt. Was perfect and cozy. I met the property owners Kepi and Jim, wonderful personable people. Would I stay here again? That’s a BIG YES.
Beautifully kept property. Super nice and friendly hosts. Jim & Kepi made us feel welcomed and shared their island knowledge. The apartment was very welcoming and comfortable. The geckos are nice to visit with.
We love to stay at the Rain Forest Apartment. Kepi and Jim are the best hosts ever and have wonderful insights about the island. We would not stay anywhere else when we visit our family on the Big Island! Close to both Hilo and Puna making it the ideal location to see more of the island. Lovely and comfortable accommodations for a great price.

Very clean, comfortable with beautiful artwork and gardens, and everything we needed for the stay. Our hosts Kepi and Jim were so friendly and helpful, recommending great places to eat and visit.places
The "rain forest" gardens were so luscious with a myriad of vines, ferns, flowers and towering plants with quirky little artsy items tucked in. We loved sitting on our porch whenever we were at "home". We felt very safe and welcome. The hosts stopped by to chat and let us know what was happening nearby. Loved that coffee and basic spices were in our kitchenette. Good location for our explorations.
We had an excellent 3 day stay near Hilo. We visited volcanos NP, Richardson's beach, the Macadamia nut farm, and a really neat little zoo close by. Great affordable place to explore the island from.

Aloha we enjoyed your stay with us, and would love to have you stay with us again Mahalo
This was my 1st time using VRBO. Place had nice bird sounds and had great deep sleep at night.Water and other amenities were good. Futon bed was hard but doable. Bathroom shower was slippery for some reason. Owner left nice directions and instructions.Overall, it was a good place to stay between Hilo and Volcano park. I would definitely recommend it.

Aloha
Sorry about the slippery shower tiles that is why there was a rubber shower mat hanging in the bathroom.
Mahalo for staying with us

Fun place to stay when you are exploring the rain forest and National Lava Park. They did a great job creating their own environment that fits in great. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely place. Wish we had stayed here and just drove to national park instead of staying up there.
