About Sherry and Francesco

My husband and I have been involved with the resurgence of our neighborhood over the past 15 years and are now eager to share it with new people.

Chattanooga has come a long way scene the days when it was called one of the dirtiest in the nation when it came to pollution.

We have seen our Neighborhood and City transformed by the diligence of few and the fearless innovation of others.

We are excited to be a part of this diverse neighborhood with the opportunity to create new spaces to show off our City. We enjoy working with local artists and creating spaces for them to flourish, this is our passion. We have two rambunctious and adventurous children that keep us on our toes and feeling young!

Why Sherry and Francesco chose St. Elmo Improvement League

Enjoy the neighborhood park ( just a few block away). The abundant hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and majestic Tennessee views.

St Elmo is teaming with locally owned and operated businesses.

Our own neighborhood pub ( Moccasin Bend Brewing Company), where you can meet the locals or take home a growler (you can also bring your dogs).

Or visit Mojo Burrito and the delicious food in a hip environment.

1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience (don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled), or

St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich.

St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run.

Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!!!!

What makes this house unique

We can point you in the direction of almost anything that you would like to enjoy in Chattanooga. See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mtn. from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga? There are many locally owned businesses and also some familiar favorites. The list is endless!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was in a great little area of town and easily accessible to everything. It was just the right size for our family of 4! And we actually even would have had space for more because our 5 year old and 2 year old ended up sleeping in the bunk beds instead of in separate rooms! It had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again next time we are in Chattanooga!

Great trip. Area had tons of things to do.

  • 5 of 5

House was wonderful—spotless with very comfortable beds. 2 adults and 3 kids had plenty of room. Sherry was great to work with. WiFi connection was excellent since we had no less than 3 iPads connected while there. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Charming and clean home beautifully decorated!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in our VRBO. The home was absolutely spotless, the kitchen fully stocked and plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for everyone. The kids enjoyed running around in the backyard and we all 6 fit comfortably at the kitchen table. The only thing I wish this home had was better window coverings. The bedroom wood shades were fine during the day, but at night you could see into the windows from outside. And the kitchen windows weren’t covered.

All in all we had a wonderful stay and sherry was precious and so friendly! We would stay again anytime!

Beautiful St. Elmo Home

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in the house while on an impromptu trip to Chattanooga! Had everything we needed and a great place to relax when we weren’t out hiking! Highly recommend and great with our 2 dogs- nice big yard for them to play in. Only thing I would suggest to the owners is to put in more privacy blinds, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. We absolutely loved it!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need. Sherry recommended Mr. T’s pizza and Oh was it so good!! We got them to deliver twice! The homemade ice cream was delicious as well. The neighborhood felt safe and it’s a short drive to Downtown Chattanooga. Overall, we had a great stay with our fur baby.
