Overview

About the property

House, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 12-22)

The Kings Point House is a unique lakeshore property with large U-shaped dock and sloping lawn that can accommodate families and gatherings of 22! The house has been newly redecorated in a casual yet luxurious and contemporary Montana style. The view of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains will take your breath away and can be seen from huge windows in almost every room of the house. We call it 'Lake TV' because the view and the parade of wildlife is ever changing with graceful osprey, swooping bald eagles, ducks and geese, and of course the neighborhood deer. The greatroom has a large stone fireplace and a log dining table that seats twelve, opening on to a deck with seating and lounging under a Ponderosa pine tree. The downstairs living room is cabin-retro with a wood-burning fireplace contrasting with a 42-inch flatscreen TV.

In the summer time, Flathead Lake is a boaters' paradise - it is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi so even on peak weekends it seems uncrowded. There are many islands to explore, Native American rock paintings to be discovered, glassy coves for waterskiing, and private fishing spots to claim. The lakeside communities have public access where you can pull in to the dock and walk to world class dining. Glacier Park is an hour away if you can tear yourselves away from the lake. Once you find the Flathead, you will want to return again and again.

Unforgettable Lakeside Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Spent the 2015 4th of July holiday here with a large group of friends and family, and had a smile on my face the entire time. From stand-up paddling every morning around Nugget Island (we named it that) to afternoons either on the lake or playing bocce ball on the cabin's lakefront lawn, to evenings around the firepit, this was the ultimate Montana adventure. It seemed there was no end to the number of people this place could accommodate -- from the plentiful bedrooms to the lakeside bunkhouse and even the dinner table for 12 inside. The massive windows looking out on the lake give you a picture right out of a painting. Truly one of the most unique properties on the lake. Can't wait to stay there again!

Beautiful family vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect vacation spot for a family. So much to do and the most incredible view of the lake and Mission Mountains. I don't think there is a better spot on the lake. The bay makes it a perfect, safe spot for kids of all ages and is great for paddle boarding, canoeing, jet skiing, boating, tubing, and water skiing. The house is gorgeous and fully stocked with anything you need. We will definitely make this our yearly vacation spot!

Perfect vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with a group of 8 (3 couples, 2 individuals), and the house was perfect. The kitchen had every utensil, pot, pan, etc you would need to make large meals for everyone. There are 3.5 bathrooms, which was a nice bonus we found out when we got there. 2 full baths attached to main rooms, and a 3rd full in the main upstairs area. The half is part of the laundry room.

The dock and outside area is fantastic. There is a large, flat yard and tons of dock space for anything you want to do. We used the kayaks, paddle board, and rented a boat part of the time. The water around the area is about 4 ft deep and inside a large cove area so it's very calm. We had no need to find out if the lift in the boat house worked.

There really isn't a downside I can speak to, and we plan to rent the house again.

What a great home in a great location. It sleeps almost as many people as you can invite in. This is a great place to stay and very calm waters to swim in.

Montana memories at their best!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at the Kings Point house with my family numerous times over the last few years and each time it is harder to leave. Every room has stunning lake and Mission Mountain views, the deck off the master suite is perfect for morning coffee and the large dock has room for several chaise lounges for afternoon sunning. The owner has thought of everything, beach towels, ultra comfortable beds with cotton sheets, books, games and movies, big screen tv, internet, barbeque, firewood and everything else a vacationer would ever need. There are plenty of places for families to reconnect and hiking and running routes right out the door. My husband kayaked every morning to the island right out in front of the property and the water temperature was perfect for swimming every afternoon. My family felt totally renewed after a week at this most memorable Kings Point property. We will definitely return.
