This adorable studio cottage is the smallest one in the resort, but the most desirable! It has a kitchenette with full size refrigerator. There is a double bed that sleeps two and a futon that sleeps two. It has its own private deck with a beautiful garden and overlooks the water. Right outside the cottage is a large shared deck with lounge chairs. There are is a beautiful common area that has a fire pit, picnic tables, grills, and large swings. You are just steps away from 150 feet of the sugar sand beach. The beach has a volleyball net and another fire pit. It is perfect for children to play and swim. It has a beautiful view of the over water sunset and is a perfect place to star-gaze after dark. Its the perfect setting to take long walks on the beach.

nice time, friendly neighbours sandy beach fire pit(s)
It was so quiet and peaceful! Nice little cottage with a great view of the water. We absolutely loved it there and didn't want to leave.
Thank you so much!
Tiny functional cottage #7. Great beach! Clean, quiet.
Quiet despite multiple cottages & families. Lovely grounds with soft grass, flower beds, and a big shared decked overlooking the beach & lake. I really liked our tiny cottage, it had a full bed and also a futon bed, both very comfy. Full kitchen, shower. Big doorwall facing the water & a little patio outside with benches where you could hang towels, wet swimsuits. Many channels of cable tv. The only bummer was very little hot water in the shower. Any time I washed, the water was cold. But we got hot water in the kitchen sink. ?? Otherwise a very nice place to stay and swim, the beach sand was soft and clean, the water was perfect! We brought our floats & had a relaxing time. Also, a public beach located just yards away.
Thank you! We are sorry about the hot water issue and wished you had said something! No one else has mentioned a problem and we can't fix what we aren't aware of! Thanks for the review
This little cottage has a beautiful view and beach. The size was adequate for 2 and the owners were very nice.
Cute, cute, CUTE
We absolutely loved our 2 night stay in Cottage 7! 2 adults and 2 children and the studio/efficiency cottage was exactly what we needed and nothing more. The grounds are very well kept and both owners introduced themselves. We enjoyed the community of people that stayed on the grounds with us, our daughter even played soccer with the family that was there.
Beach could not be more perfect for young children to play on and it was situated just right from the cottage itself and 2 public beaches.
12 mins each way to Caseville & Port Austin which makes for easy driving to check out the coastline of the thumb.
We can't wait to plan another stay in this group of cottages and hope to bring family & friends along too.
Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and great place to stay!
Thank you so much! It's families like yours that make our business do fun and we appreciate your comments!!
Everything we were looking for
The place is small, but it's exactly what we needed, wanted, and expected. It was very well maintained, and the owners met us upon arrival even though we didn't show up til very late (around 10pm). Gorgeous view of the lake with lots of patio furniture and chairs, and a really nice sized bon fire pit. Gave us information on all the cool things happening around town that weekend. It was an overall excellent experience.
Port Austin has a Farmer's Market every weekend hours 9 AM - 1 PM. You can also kayak to Turnip Rock from Port Austin.
