Private Retreat located just 10 miles north of Asheville.
About Cheri Swigart
K.C. and Cheri have lived in Asheville since 1979 and love living here. We have seen our town become one of the top destination spots to vacation and live. We are just next door and available to answer any questions if you need.
Cheri Swigart purchased this Cottage in 2016
Why Cheri Swigart chose Weaverville
We built this home as a vacation rental. As a local Realtor and Builder here in the Asheville area for the past 25 years, we knew the spot was perfect for someone wanting a peaceful private setting after exploring all that Asheville has to offer. The lot is wooded and private. A friendly community where you can take a walk down to the creek, catch a glimpse of turkey, deer or an occasional bear. Just 3 1/2 miles from Main Street Weaverville where you can stroll the local shops, grab a bite to eat or stroll the nature park. Bustling Downtown Asheville is a short 15 minute commute, Golf is a mile away, French Broad River activities, hiking and the Blue Ridge Parkway close by. Visit Biltmore Estate. Explore surrounding small towns and take a ride up in the mountains, visit waterfalls and national forest.

Cottage at Woody End
We loved this rental! The house is clean and comfortable and the check in and out was easy and convenient. The setting is beautiful and it is a short drive to Asheville.
Long Weekend Getaway
We can not say enough great things about the Cottage at Woody End and Weaverville. So much to offer and a relaxing peaceful setting outside of the hustle and bustle of Asheville - but definitely close enough to take in all the area has to offer. Cheri is great, and the cottage was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Paradise in the woods!
We stayed in the two bedroom upper unit. EVERYTHING about this property is perfect....charming living/dining area, comfortable, roomy bedrooms with lots of closet and drawer space, nice bathrooms with lots of towels. The patio is perfect for glass of wine in the late afternoon.
The kitchen was well equipped and Cheri left a wonderful surprise in the refrigerator from the Well Bred Bakery.
My only suggestion would be to provide an extra bin for recycling.
I have already recommended the property and we would definitely stay again.
Betsy, from Naples, Florida
Hi Betsy, I'm sorry about the recycle bin. We do have one we keep in the hall closet but my husband had taken it to empty and failed to return it from the previous guest. We'd love to have you visit again.
Nice quiet location in wooded setting. Very well kept property and home. Enjoyed the peacefulness.
Awesome Weekend Retreat
We were visiting the Ashville area finalizing the details on my daughter’s wedding. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by this little gem sitting just outside Weaverville. We definitely will be returning as planning continues.
Thanks, The Carpenter’s
We are located about a mile from Reems Creek Golf Course and a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Main Street in Weaverville offers local art, dining, coffee shops and nature park. Downtown Asheville is just a15 minute drive to explore art galleries, breweries, theatre, great food and music. Biltmore Estate is 15-20 min. Whitewater rafting, ziplining and skiing close by. This is a great location to come home to after exploring. Peaceful private setting yet close enough to enjoy all the area has to offer.
