Common laundry room. Separate parking and entrance for each unit. The entrances to both of these units are totally separate. About Cheri Swigart

K.C. and Cheri have lived in Asheville since 1979 and love living here. We have seen our town become one of the top destination spots to vacation and live. We are just next door and available to answer any questions if you need.

Why Cheri Swigart chose Weaverville

We built this home as a vacation rental. As a local Realtor and Builder here in the Asheville area for the past 25 years, we knew the spot was perfect for someone wanting a peaceful private setting after exploring all that Asheville has to offer. The lot is wooded and private. A friendly community where you can take a walk down to the creek, catch a glimpse of turkey, deer or an occasional bear. Just 3 1/2 miles from Main Street Weaverville where you can stroll the local shops, grab a bite to eat or stroll the nature park. Downtown Asheville is a short 15 minute commute, Golf is a mile away, hiking and the Blue Ridge Parkway close by.

What makes this house unique

A place to unwind and relax, listen to the birds and not hear road noise. Sit on the porch and enjoy a glass of wine or coffee. Comfortable home in a nice private setting, easy commute to town. Our property is non smoking/ no pets.

Great Mountain House in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

Excellent 2 story house (we stayed in the top level) that seemed new, was very clean, well-furnished, and was isolated and private but did not take a crazy overly long drive to get there. But it was just a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville. The top level that we stayed in had enough room for a family of four, and had a well-equipped kitchen and 2 good bedrooms and bathrooms. There was TV, Cable, WiFi, and washer/dryer units that all worked well. Good touches by the owner, who left very useful information in a binder about local restaurants and attractions, as well as various useful books about the Asheville area. And even nicer- great chocolate chip cookies and neat little mini pies (apple, pecan, custard) that just screamed hospitality. We would absolutely come back again when we're back in Asheville.
