Why William Graf chose Eastlake and Portage Bay
Located in Seattle's hip Eastlake neighborhood bordering Capitol Hill, Downtown, Lake Union, a vibrant houseboat community, and the University District. A stone's throw from some of the city's most wonderful restaurants (Serafina and their new sister restaurant Cicchetti), coffeehouses (VOXX) speciality stores (Pete's Wine Shop), neigborhood hangouts (The Zoo Tavern and Eastlake Bar and Grill), new-school sandwich shops (Mammoth), and bakeries (Le Fournil and Grand Central). Eastlake Market is just a few blocks away for all your basic conveniences. MargiDavid Salon is just a few blocks away for hair and beauty needs. If you've got kids, Rogers playground is just a few blocks away. And of course, Lake Union is just down the street! In the summertime, picnic or launch a float down at Fairview Park! We send all our guests a list of our favorite neighborhood and citywide picks for eating and sightseeing, culled from our more than three decades of living in Seattle. Great access to nearby public buses, and easy freeway access makes getting around the city a breeze. The Eastlake Ave E and E Lynn St Metro stop is just three short blocks away from the apartment. Numerous Metro lines run directly from that stop, including the 70, which will get you to the University District or Downtown in a jiffy. Our guests report that this is one of their favorite aspects of this property! We love Eastlake because it is sandwiched in between some of our favorite Seattle neighborhoods, including Capitol Hill, Downtown, and the University District. These neighborhoods are a long walk, a quick Uber, or a cheap bus ride away!

Great views in Eastlake
This location worked well for us. The views are amazing from the upstairs bedroom and outside balcony. The owner provided all the information we needed for our stay and was easily reachable. The inside was very clean, updated and the beds were comfortable. There were many good restaurants in the neighborhood and a few convenient stores for quick item pickups.
