Great location! Close to inner harbour and sights.
This condo is very handy to the downtown core and Beacon Hill Park. All main attractions are within walking distance. Nancy was very helpful and punctual when we arrived on Easter Sunday! We would recommend this condo to others.
Wonderful stay at the astoria
We had a wonderful 3 month stay in condo 1008 at the Astoria. The space was bright with spectacular views . During the day we could see the ocean and the mountains. At night the lights of the city. This location was steps away from the inner harbour, Beacon Hill Park and Cook St.
Parking was available, as well as a spot to lock bicycles.
The condo was well equiped, the beds were comfortable and it was great having in suite laundry. The Astoria is a quiet and well maintained building.
Nancy was wonderful. She was extremely helpful and always available to answer questions.
We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Victoria.
Perfect condo in perfect locatation
Great stay in every respect. Will book again when in Victoria.
April in Victoria
Enjoyed great views perched in this beautiful condo. From the stunning sunsets to the mountains and inner harbour, every window provides an eye pleasing view. We were truly amazed by the closeness to Beacon Hill Park and the walkability this condo affords. Thanks to Nancy, the condo manager for her accessibility. The parking facilities are excellent with the parking spot right across from the access door to the elevator although we really could have managed well without a vehicle. We also found the close location to fine dining and other eating establishments very beneficial although the condo is well set up for grilling and cooking your own meals. The MBR bed is very comfortable. Also, the view from the white chairs in the Living Room is unbeatable. We recommend a walk over to the Cook Street Village and James Bay as we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, pubs, cafes, and access to any supplies you may require. We will definitely return in the future.
Our visit of five weeks could not have been better at the Astoria. The unit was well stocked with day to day amenities. It was very clean and comfortable for the two of us and the views we had, wow. Every room has floor to ceiling windows which allowed for unobstructed views of the harbour, the lighted BC Parliament buildings and the Olympic mountains off in the distance. Beacon Hill park is a stone's throw away and it was always a favourite daily walk. We found the tenants of the Astoria to be very friendly but overall our unit provided a very comfortable experience. Nancy was terrific in introducing us to the unit and the building in general. The added touch of the cut and potted flowers upon arrival were very much appreciated.
We highly recommend this unit to any couple but as a retired couple it was perfect. Thank you to the owners and Nancy for providing such a warm and welcoming space. We would return without hesitation.
Bird's Eye View of Incredible Inner Harbour Victoria British Columbia Canada
We thoroughly enjoyed our fun filled November week at the Astoria in downtown Victoria BC. We were greeted at the front entry by the condo manager Nancy and given a tour of the condo and facilities including, much to our surprise, parking right across from the elevator making the transport of our belongings and groceries so much simpler. Nancy was willing to answer all questions and quick to respond to our concerns during the week we were there. The condo contents were brand new and very well equipped. We were close to all the downtown inner harbor tourist spots. Restaurants are accessible and shopping is nearby. It is a quick walk to the fabulous Beacon Hill Park, Dallas Road and Fisherman's Wharf. I was advised by Nancy that facilities are being installed in the parking spot so that when we make a return visit, we will have a place to lock up our bicycles. The internet is fast and the television included no shortage of selection for viewing. Also Netflix was installed. The beds were comfortable and the spinning chairs in the living room over looked a fantastic view of the Royal BC Museum and Inner Harbour. It must be seen at night to appreciate the beauty.
