Welcome to your comfortable home in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Once you walk in you will see this is truly a home-away-from-home with all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. You will feel at home when you sink into the large leather recliners or reclining sofa to watch the 42-inch flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a California King Temperpedic pillow top and the guest room has two twin beds with brand new plush top mattresses. Both bathrooms are newly renovated, with a tile-walled and river-rock floored shower in the master bath and an extra deep tub in the guest bath.
The appliances in the kitchen were replaced a few years ago and the stove is a glass top model. Everything you will need – pots, pans, dishes and linens- are provided for your use. The large lanai has comfortable chaises for relaxing, chairs and table for dining, and a ceiling fan to help keep you cool. The condo has central air conditioning along with ceiling fans in all the rooms to keep you cool and comfortable. The condo comes with Wi-Fi to keep you connected with all your friends and family back on the mainland so you can make them jealous of all the fun you are having.
You’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of living in the back building of the complex, and you won’t have any trouble getting your luggage to the condo – there is a convenient elevator just 10 feet from your parking space and the front door.
The condominium, swimming pool, spa, sauna, pool table, library, and bar-be-que dining pavilion are an easy 2-minute walk. The best beach in Kona, Magic Sands, is directly across the street, and we have beach towels, boogie boards, and swim noodles ready for your use. Kahalu’u Beach, with excellent snorkeling and loads of sea turtles, is just a mile down the road. If it is shopping you are interested in, just 2 miles away is Keauhou Shopping Center for shopping, dining and the movies. Kailua town is just 4 miles away with more shopping, dining and tourist attractions like the Hawaiian royal summer palace, Hulih’e, and Mokuaikua, the first church the missionaries built in the islands.
The Big Island is the largest of the Hawaiian Islands, with 8 different climate zones. In the Winter you can snowboard on Mauna Kea and surf in the Pacific Ocean on the same day. Visit the Volcano National Park, historic Hilo town, Akaka Falls, Waipio Valley, and Parker Ranch, among other wonderful sites unique to the Big Island.
We love the Big Island and we are sure you will too.
