There are 2 double beds (1 fixed on the mezzanine level accessed by ladder - ideal for youngsters or guest stop over), living area with TV and DVD player with selection of DVDs, dining area, built in wardrobes with sliding mirror doors, spacious hall, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom suite.

The apartment is located in a modern development with many amenities for residents only. These include a hotel style lobby entrance with concierge+CCTV for security, swimming pool with sauna, gym, table tennis table, great fun for all the family, communal garden and roof terrace; they are complimentary to the rent price.

Very nice flat in a great location

Great location! The flat is very close to the center of London, but the area has something of laidback/relaxed feel given its proximity to so many of the main attractions & downtown London. We found a number of enjoyable restaurants & pubs just by wandering the streets around the apartment. If you don’t mind some walking it is an easy and scenic walk to the river and all of the attractions and landmarks in that area. The flat was clean, spacious and well taken care of. The host was helpful and made arrangements for check in easy. We had a terrific stay, I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic flat in a great central neighborhood

Just spent 4 night in this flat with my husband and daughter. It was PERFECT for us. We flew into Luton airport and out of Gatwick. Very easy access to both of these airports. We are big walkers so we were able to walk everywhere. The unit itself is incredibly well designed. Great kitchen, comfy bed, comfy sofas. Also we loved using the pool and fitness center. Great for swimming laps! I would definitely stay here again! Sue and Thomaz were both very nice, easy going and responsive. Finally, having a washing machine was a godsend as we’d bern traveling for days prior to London. Great time, great flat!!

Clean and spacious

Sue is wonderful to work with and made our stay in London easy. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. This summer has been hot and when we requested a fan for the apartment, Sue was able to locate one and deliver it by the evening of our request. Thank you Sue!

Very nice accommodations and location

This apartment was great for our family of four, and the location was very convenient for groceries, restaurants and a short walk to the tube. The kitchen was terrific, and the sitting area was plenty spacious. During our visit, the weather was very warm, so after long days of walking and sightseeing it was ideal to cool off in the pool. The apartment had everything we needed, except for fans. Because of the warm weather during our stay, evenings were quite warm for sleeping. Without a/c, having an additional fan or two would have made a big difference. We'd love to travel again to London, and wouldn't hesitate to rent this apartment again.

Really Great Location and a Very Comfortable Stay

This flat (apartment) is in a condo building with key fob access front lobby and daytime doorman. Situated on the second floor -- an easy walk-up to avoid having to wait for an elevator, and through a 2nd floor lobby into a corridor. There are several fire doors and the last hallway has sensor motion activated lights, making it dark for a fraction of a second after you open the door and enter it to gain access to the apartment door. The apartment is essentially a studio apartment, exactly as described with a living area, a bed, a loft bed, and a kitchenette and bathroom. It was very clean upon arrival and everything was in good condition as described by the owner. The doorman showed us in, gave us a second set of keys, and gave us some suggestions for nearby restaurants. He also told us about the included fitness center and indoor pool. The living area includes openable swing patio doors with a mini-balcony overlooking the sidewalk and street traffic below. Interestingly, it's possible to view passengers inside the upper level of the double-decker buses while seated on the sofa in this living room. I imagine they could return the favor -- something to keep in mind. We had to open both doors, because during our visit, the weather was exceptionally hot -- there is no a/c in this flat -- probably just an American concern, since few of our hotels/B&Bs on this trip had a/c. Anyhow, sleeping with the patio doors open was a bit of an issue, given the overnight street noise, occasional sirens, etc. This didn't necessarily detract from our stay here, and there isn't much that can be done about it -- just pointing it out as the reason I can only give this VRBO property 4-stars instead of 5-stars. My only other criticism is probably also an American inadequacy -- a total lack of familiarity with European electrical applications in kitchens and baths. I finally figured out that the towel rack heater in the bath was activated by the wall switch near the floor outside the bathroom door. I googled fruitlessly how to use a European-style clothes drying rack, and finally, after much heuristic analysis, figured out the best approach to get the clothes dry. We stayed here in the middle of our two week trip especially because a clothes washer was available within the apartment. Not having a clothes drying appliance, again, is probably just an American complaint. Overall, this VRBO rental is great! I'd recommend it to friends and family. I'd return to it. Cheers!

The building is located in the Clerkenwell Road between the West End and the City. It is ideally placed for sight seeing, shopping, or to visit London's many cultural attractions. The nearest stations are Chancery Lane on the Central Line and Farringdon (Circle, Hammersmith & City lines, with direct trains to Gatwick and Luton airports). Euston, Kings Cross and the Euro Star terminal at St Pancras are all within easy reach. Within 10-20 minutes walk you can be strolling along the Thames, visit Tate Modern, walk along the Strand, hunt for bargains in Covent Garden or visit the world famous opera. Russel Square and the British Museum are a short walk away as are the Angel, Islington, the Barbican, the Museum of London and St Pauls Cathedral. There are many restaurants, bars and pubs in the vicinity plus a wide range of grocery shops and convenience stores plus a daily street market for all your needs.
