This three bedroom, 2 bath ranch home is located on acreage. In addition to the two car garage you'll have lots of room to stretch, parking for trailers, boats or toy haulers.
The bedrooms feature a king, a queen and two twin beds to easily accommodate six people. A fully equipped eat in kitchen and an open dining/family room provide lots of space and seating for family and friends in addition to a lovely screened in back porch. During the Fall and Winter months, you will be eager to open all the windows and enjoy the breezes that flow freely through the home. If you're a sports oriented family there's room for volley-ball, badminton, football, soccer, or perhaps a pick-up game of whiffle ball or horse shoes. The night sky sparkles with a plethora of stars providing a romantic backdrop for a campfire/bonfire. So bring your s'mores and if the temperature warrants, your blankie.
For the beach lovers, the beach of Daytona Beach Shores is a straight shot... 10 miles East. On the route to the beach (Taylor Rd.) you'll pass the Spruce Creek Fly-in (1/4 mile to golf), Crane Lakes (more golf), Publix/Kohl's, Beall's Outlet, the 'Pavilion' shopping complex with theaters, dozens of restaurants, Lowes/Target, Home Depot, Walmart, 3 Walgreen's, 2 CVS's another Publix. There is plenty of shopping and entertainment in the rare event that the sun isn't shining.
If you're a motorcycle enthusiast, we have the perfect location for you during Daytona's famous Bike Week in March and Biketoberfest in the fall. Sopotonick's aka Cabbage Patch is 2 miles to the south and we are close enough to easily reach Daytona's Main Street.
Racing Fans? We've got you covered. Daytona International Speedway is within easy access, only 6 miles north to US-92 (International Speedway Blvd.) The New Smyrna Speedway on SR-44 is 4 miles south, 2 miles south of Sopotonick's.
For the Equestrians, Silver Sands Riding Arena is next to Sopotonick's. We have room for horses but as of yet do not have permanent fencing or corrals to contain your charges. I do have portable fence panels which can be set up if requested.
For the fishermen there is plenty of room to park your boat. Saltwater fishing is just 10 miles east to the Port Orange bridge with its modern boat ramps. The closest freshwater lake would be Lake Ashby, a few miles south of SR-44 off of SR-415 (please don't feed the gators). The Spruce Creek River is nearby with kayak or canoe access just around the corner with rentals available.
Daytona Beach Kennel Club (greyhound racing and poker room) is a stone's throw away, alright 6 miles, as well as the Daytona Flea Market en route to US-92. On Wednesdays the Volusia County fairgrounds has their farmers market/flea market which is a 15 minute ride on SR-44.
Should there be some sights that are of interest to you In Orlando I-4 is easily accessible via SR-44. Should one prefer to avoid and circumvent the congestion on I-4 the tollway 417 is a straight shot south on 415 (a great way to reach Orlando International Airport). Sanford/Orlando International airport is also reached along this route.
