Away from it all yet near to it all.
This three bedroom, 2 bath ranch home is located on acreage. In addition to the two car garage you'll have lots of room to stretch, parking for trailers, boats or toy haulers.
The bedrooms feature a king, a queen and two twin beds to easily accommodate six people. A fully equipped eat in kitchen and an open dining/family room provide lots of space and seating for family and friends in addition to a lovely screened in back porch. During the Fall and Winter months, you will be eager to open all the windows and enjoy the breezes that flow freely through the home. If you're a sports oriented family there's room for volley-ball, badminton, football, soccer, or perhaps a pick-up game of whiffle ball or horse shoes. The night sky sparkles with a plethora of stars providing a romantic backdrop for a campfire/bonfire. So bring your s'mores and if the temperature warrants, your blankie.
For the beach lovers, the beach of Daytona Beach Shores is a straight shot... 10 miles East. On the route to the beach (Taylor Rd.) you'll pass the Spruce Creek Fly-in (1/4 mile to golf), Crane Lakes (more golf), Publix/Kohl's, Beall's Outlet, the 'Pavilion' shopping complex with theaters, dozens of restaurants, Lowes/Target, Home Depot, Walmart, 3 Walgreen's, 2 CVS's another Publix. There is plenty of shopping and entertainment in the rare event that the sun isn't shining.
If you're a motorcycle enthusiast, we have the perfect location for you during Daytona's famous Bike Week in March and Biketoberfest in the fall. Sopotonick's aka Cabbage Patch is 2 miles to the south and we are close enough to easily reach Daytona's Main Street.
Racing Fans? We've got you covered. Daytona International Speedway is within easy access, only 6 miles north to US-92 (International Speedway Blvd.) The New Smyrna Speedway on SR-44 is 4 miles south, 2 miles south of Sopotonick's.
For the Equestrians, Silver Sands Riding Arena is next to Sopotonick's. We have room for horses but as of yet do not have permanent fencing or corrals to contain your charges. I do have portable fence panels which can be set up if requested.
For the fishermen there is plenty of room to park your boat. Saltwater fishing is just 10 miles east to the Port Orange bridge with its modern boat ramps. The closest freshwater lake would be Lake Ashby, a few miles south of SR-44 off of SR-415 (please don't feed the gators). The Spruce Creek River is nearby with kayak or canoe access just around the corner with rentals available.
Daytona Beach Kennel Club (greyhound racing and poker room) is a stone's throw away, alright 6 miles, as well as the Daytona Flea Market en route to US-92. On Wednesdays the Volusia County fairgrounds has their farmers market/flea market which is a 15 minute ride on SR-44.
Should there be some sights that are of interest to you In Orlando I-4 is easily accessible via SR-44. Should one prefer to avoid and circumvent the congestion on I-4 the tollway 417 is a straight shot south on 415 (a great way to reach Orlando International Airport). Sanford/Orlando International airport is also reached along this route.
There's something for everyone to enjoy! A perfect place for the family reunion or just a winter get away for those who live up in the 'cold country' and wish to fly south for the winter. We provide a relaxing, quiet environment just far enough from the rat race, yet just close enough to easily access anything you desire!

We enjoye our stay. If we have a trip planned in the area again will see if this house is available again. It was just right for the 6 of us.
Quiet place to relax, with everything you need a short drive away
John and Kim are awesome! I mostly dealt with John regarding communication. I was trying to evacuate from Hurricane Irma. I am on the west coast of Florida, this place is on the East coast. They accepted my booking within a few hours as I needed to leave ASAP. They allowed my animals to come along, with an extra $50 deposit. The place was clean and stocked with drinking water. There is a cute little screened porch in the back that is great for enjoying the outside. Surrounded by trees at the end of a dirt road. I had 4 people and there was plenty of room for us all. Awesome place! I would stay again, even if it was not under my original circumstances.
Great Florida Country living
We are no strangers to the area , so we knew what we were looking for and what all we were going to do. Nice FL country living. It's very nice and relaxing.
Well water gave us a little fit last few days , but nothing that bugged us too much because we're no strangers to well water.
Would definitely stay again. John was around and was very helpful and hospitable.
I am very glad to hear that you would consider our home for future stays. You would be most welcome. I apologize for the water issue the last days of your stay. Evidently the water softener did not cycle as it was scheduled to. I wish that you had informed us while you were having the problem so we could have addressed it right away. Thanks for your patronage.
My family and I spent the weekend there . It was able to accommodate all of us . The neighbors
are great ! and friendly . I have a dog also but i didn't bring her because I didn't know how she would act in a new environment. The neighbors have two friendly dogs she would have loved to play with them. Everything was there for us to use . We played a fun game of slip and slide. It was a great get away. Thank you Kim for letting us stay at your home !
Maria. Thank you for leaving our home in such excellent condition. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you will stay with us again when you return to the Daytona area!
Tucked away and quite comfortable . All the amenities of home .
Will definitely check to see if it is available again upon our next visit to Daytona! 5 stars !
Thank-you for staying in our home. We would be pleased to have you stay again in the future.
Nice place great for us
Came down for bike week and this place was perfect for us. Plenty of room and privacy but close to it all.
John and Kim were very nice people and let us know they were there if we needed anything but did not interfere with our stay. Thanks for a great week.
Happy to hear that you had a nice time. Hope that you think of us should you return to the area in the future.
