Great place to stay in San Diego
A clean, comfortable home in a safe fun neighborhood. Excellent host!
Great Property in Quiet Neighborhood.
If you are someone that is offended by lots of notes with bold type and underlined phrases than this house isn't for you. If you are someone that wants to stay at a house that has everything you would need and the owner has tried to take special care that you understand how to use everything then check it out.
Beautiful yard and location in PB
We loved our spring break stay at the house. It's a few blocks to the beach, the bay or Mission Blvd. Ralph's (grocery store) is a few blocks north. There was a bit more foot traffic outside than I was expecting but that comes with the location. The garage with parking was a must. The yard is a definite plus and our kids loved it. We didn't use the bikes but having them with the beach chairs and beach toys was a nice touch. The bedrooms are a bit spartan but have everything you need. We appreciated the changing table and Pack and Play that came with the house (including a nicer mattress) for our youngest. The kitchen is well appointed although we didn't cook much. The only downside is the house was built in the 40's with lovely original wood floors that are very creaky and the walls are very thin. The host helps with this with white noise machines in every room but if you have light sleepers in your group it may be an issue. Overall it was a great home base for adventures to Legoland, the zoo and the beach.
Clean quiet perfect stay
Jan was amazing to work with. 3 days in SD for a conference and this Home was great. Everything was clean and as described. Short walk to the beach was nice.
Perfect location, wonderful home
We had a wonderful time at your beach home! It was a perfect location with the kids - we could go to the ocean and chase waves or over to the bay for some "quiet" sand play, the boys loved it! Such a quick drive to downtown - it was great for my meetings and for the family on their rainy day to go to the children's museum. La Jolla was also quick drive away- we went there one day to see the seals and play on the beach again.
The house itself was also great, nice to have the yard and grill. We mostly cooked and ate in, having the kitchen was great and so nice to have Ralph's just down a few blocks! Wonderful to have the extra kid/baby items, we found them very useful!
We would certainly recommend your place or stay again if we were in the San Diego area!
Thank you for your kind review. I am so glad you had a wonderful time and I am looking forward to having you come again.
Great spot in Pacific Beach.
Perfect location and the house had everything we needed. Jan was very helpful and accommodating. Loved the backyard and all the beach equipment.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm so glad you had a good time.
Quiet neighborhood. No apartments next door. Single family housing area. Easy walking distance to Beach & Bay, grocery store, pharmacy, Starbucks, bike rentals, all 3-4 blocks away. Huge enclosed back yard. Spend the day at the beach, relax afterwards in the yard.
