My home is a newly renovated Mid-Century Craftsman in the Tucson Park West neighborhood, just on the west side of 1-10. I took great pains to preserve the quirky, kooky, 70s vibe while giving the home a much needed update.
Do you have a large group? There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one queen beds, three full, and three twin beds, a comfy couch and I can also provide a cot, and probably even an air mattress if your group is larger than the 11 that can sleep in beds. There is also a casita on the premises that can be rented separately, or packaged with th main house.
Location: You are only a few miles away from Downtown Tucson and many of the Gem Show venues, in a very quiet and mellow family neighborhood. Uber rides downtown are only $7.
GREAT FOR CYCLISTS: Very close to Tucson Mountain Park, and I have two Bike Racks in the back yard, under a roof extension (some large cycling groups like to rent the casita so they can keep their bikes inside.
The House: Huge front windows, fully stocked kitchen, lots of vintage furniture, enormous vinyl record collection, pulp sci-fi and mystery novels, and a veritable museum of vintage audio-based toys/flash-in-the-pan audio playback formats. There is a washer/dryer for laundry, dishwasher, and huge backyard with plenty of seating and a fireplace.
Master Bedroom with Bathroom, work desk, and queen size bed.
The back bedroom: Now has TWO Twin over Full bunk beds (I just haven't been able to get a photographer back in to get good photos).
The middle bedroom is small and has a full size bed and twin bed that take up most of the room. Furniture and décor may end up being slightly different than what is pictured, but the vibe will be the same.
