- Do you love yoga? Charleston Power Yoga is right around the corner
- Runner's heaven : safe, beautiful running options through the city streets along the water and over bridges such as the scenic vistas of Cooper River Bridge.
- Walkers paradise : urban walking in Charleston is a visual treat. Consider booking a free walking tour with Free Tours by Foot & choose between four different focuses: the Civil War, haunted Charleston, history or architecture.

*NOTE* While being close to the action is one of the best things about the property, it can get noisy at times. To counteract the noise we have installed custom sound proofing window inserts (at end of April 2017) to reduce the noise by 75%. We also provide sleep machines in the both bedrooms, for those that are super light sleepers. The fire department is located right next door. We enjoy the extra security of having them, but they do run the siren briefly when they pull out of the station. With our new sound proof window inserts, the sound of the firetruck is minimal - however even before the inserts we never had any guest complaints about the sound of the fire trucks. So now we have the best of both worlds - a charming apt located in the heart of Charleston night life, and a cozy interior buffered from the street noise.
You will have access to free off-street parking for TWO vehicles - parked front to back. Parking for Unit B is on the right. Your classic Charleston private porch is a great place to enjoy coffee or cocktails. Our apartments feature keyless entry to make your check in easy 24 hours a day, and your stay will be just that more relaxing with no keys to lose.
Household items/appliances include microwave, coffee maker, coffee filters, fridge, oven/range, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, full length mirror, magnifying mirror, hangers, dishes, washer and dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, vacuum, broom, shampoo, conditioner, soap, beach towels, bath towels and linens.
Our beds are super comfortable and include bed bug proof mattress and pillow covers.
Additional Business Traveler Ready Items include: High-speed wireless internet, usb charging stations for your devices as well as alarm clocks in each bedroom, sleep machine in front bedroom, desk/workspace in each bedroom as well as in the kitchen, 24 hour check-in with secure keyless entry, and off street parking for 2 cars.
3 Cannon is a non-smoking home. If you need to smoke, please do so outside 25 feet away from the doors and dispose of your butts afterwards. Thanks!
Parties are NOT allowed.
Maximum occupancy is 4 adults. If you have more than 4, consider renting both upstairs and downstairs apartments.
Due to the stairs and the upper porch area, the upstairs unit is not suitable for children. Consider renting the lower unit (A) if you have children which allows up to 5 people including all babies & children.
There are no pets allowed.
Interaction with guests
We are not always in town. We have qualified, knowledgeable, local assistant hosts to step in as needed. We are happy to help with any issues or provide suggestions or advice for your stay via phone or text, but in general we will let you enjoy the property on your own.
The Cannonborough neighborhood is one of the most trendiest places in the city. Bordering the midtown section of King Street referred to as "Upper King" the neighborhood extends to the west. Mainly consisting of restored 19th century homes, the borough also offers a variety of local dining hot spots including Hominy Grill, Two Boroughs Larder, Xiao Bao Biscuit, The Grocery, Five Loaves Cafe, Cannon Green, and many more while maintaining the neighborhood feel.
Staying downtown means that you can walk/bike to just about anywhere you want to go. There are two bike rental shops half a block from the property. There is a CARTA bus stop on our block of Cannon St. Hailing a taxi on the street is difficult in Charleston, but there are lots of options for companies that you can call. Also, Uber is very popular and frequently used downtown. If you have more than 2 cars to park, you can use the public parking garage on King Street only a block away.
No parties, drugs or excessive drinking is allowed on the premises.
No unregistered guests between the quiet hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am

We stayed at Anna’s 2nd floor apartment for a long girls’ weekend. It’s in a fantastic location with walking access to local shopping, restaurants, and historical sites. Bring comfortable walking shoes and be careful on the stairs - people with physical issues may want to look into her first floor apartment. Apartment is beautiful and very clean, beds are very comfy. Sounds machines are helpful for street sounds on weekends. Street lights are still visible through front window coverings, may want to pack a sleep mask! We felt very safe walking before and after dark. Would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Charleston.
Perfect Place to Stay!!
Great location just off Upper King Street. You can walk everywhere from here and not miss a thing! The apartment was very clean and cozy. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights with our 2 teenage daughters and were all very comfortable. We can't wait to come back to Charleston...We would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here over spring break with my sister and brother-in-law. The apartment was decorated so cute and had everything we needed. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and all supplies were in the cabinets. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location in downtown Charleston!
We had a great stay at this property in downtown Charleston! Everything was within easy walking distance down king street. The apartment was clean, comfortable and came with all of the amenities you would expect!
Cute and convenient
Clean, cute decor and loved the welcome basket with some snacks and water! A little loud on the weekends but did have sound machines if needed. Close to a ton of restaurants and bars.
Thanks for your review Gina! I am glad you enjoyed the apartment and your stay! You were with us over spring break which is one of the louder weeks in Charleston. We are in such an great location in the heart of the downtown Charleston restaurants and night life - which is awesome, but the downside can be street noise on particularly busy weekends in Charleston. The custom insulated windows and noise machines were carefully added to provide our guests with a great nights sleep.
A great stay
Anna's place was an excellent home base while in Charleston - an easy walk to great coffee and food.
The apartment is located 75 ft from King St at Cannon - in the heart of everywhere you want to be. Amazing restaurants, bars and shopping await you in the hip, historical city of Charleston.
