Very Nice secluded Home on the cove.

  • 5 of 5

This house was very nice and roomy. It is in a great location on a cove and easy dock access for fishing plus they have a canoe and kayak. Town was 5 minutes away with stores and shops. The owner was very nice. We had a small issue and she had it fixed right away and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I would recommend this house to stay in. Thanks again for everything we loved it.

Beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. The house has beautiful views of the cove and the dock in the backyard was a great place to fish and take off in the kayak. The backyard was relaxing and there were chipmunks everywhere. Our son even spotted a mink in the backyard while fishing. The house was exceptionally clean. It had plenty of room to spread out and the bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and rec room were all nice. It was very comfortable and the pass to Sebago Lake State Park was a nice touch. All in all, we loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home in a good location

  • 3 of 5

We stayed at this home last week. The lakefront home was wonderful. The house had everything you could possible need for a wonderful vacation. The house was very clean and comfortable. The property outside was nicely maintained. The dock was very accessible and was in great condition. The owner of this home is very responsive and does everything she can to make your stay in their home comfortable. But beware- Please don't go to this property for the boating and swimming. Sebago Cove is filled with Milfoil. A very invasive plant that makes swimming almost impossible. This is the biggest drawback to the property. Sebago Cove home owners are working to eliminate the plant along with the state but in the meantime nobody swims in the cove due to the plant. If boating and swimming are not on your agenda this house is absolutely perfect!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your flattering review of our property and our family as owners. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and found that you had everything you needed to have a wonderful vacation. We are sorry you were disappointed with the conditions for swimming at the house. We try not to mislead our guests when renting our home. We do try to encourage the use of the association beach a short distance down the road which has a sandy bottom, shade trees and a grassy area as well. We are sorry if you were unable to take advantage of the season pass we offer to Sebago Lake State Park which has a beautiful beach. Many guests have enjoyed the cove because it is so quiet and tranquil and does not have the constant noise and traffic of larger boats. The cove also provides great protection from the wind and waves which makes it ideal for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Although swimming and boating are possible in the cove, access to miles of boating on Sebago Lake is less than 2 miles (by water) from the house.

Beautiful, Pristine, Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough about how wonderful our week in Maine was and how perfect the house was for our family. The house came stocked with lots of items I normally have to bring when I rent. The kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in with a center island and open layout. The hardwood floors and tasteful decor made this rental feel more like a model home. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Waterfront elegant vacation home

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful house to vacation in and reconnect with family. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and super clean. The bathrooms are very convenient and the kitchen equipment the best. There is plenty room to us to be all together or one can have the choice of many private corner. There is a lovely view from the waterfront and the backyard is very private but large enough for outdoor games. We will definitively return if we seek a similar experience next year.

Thank you, for your thoughtful planning which made our vacation most pleasant!
