Nestled in a magical oasis facing a park, this charming home is just 10 min walk to downtown. An ideal location to experience Montreal's main attractions, close to the best shopping, restaurants, bars/clubs, and coffee shops in the city.

Our Victorian cottage, built in 1887, is a quiet street in Westmount facing a park, complete with children's playground, tennis and basketball courts.

The 3-story house is charmingly furnished and very well appointed, cozy and comfortable, with 2 bedrooms upstairs (queen and double bed), open concept kitchen, dining room and living room on the main floor, and a fun sleeping area in the basement/studio with 2 single beds. If these are not converted into beds, they will remain as couches as a living/playroom area. As the ceilings are low in the basement, those sleeping downstairs must not be taller than 5'10". It's perfect for teens. A spacious upstairs bathroom, complete with luxurious bath, walk-in shower and 2 sinks. There is a powder room (sink and toilet) on the first floor. There is also a large office/work area next to the dining room. The large backyard patio/garden is picturesque, with a teak table/umbrella and BBQ. This is the perfect home away from home for families, couples or groups interested in sharing a wonderful space.

A parking space for one car at the back of the house is available at an extra charge of $10 CAN/per day.

For longer term stays over 1 week, a cleaning service will be made available at extra charge, as well as snow clearing if disired.

Westmount is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the heart of Montreal. Affluent, charming and historic, it borders the downtown area and boasts impressive Victorian mansions climbing up the south side of Mount Royal, around which Montreal has been built. Our cottage is just down the street from a quaint commercial area called the Greene Village, complete with Second Cup, Starbucks, chic boutiques, restaurants, bistros, bakeries and gourmet grocery store. There are BIXI stands (bike rental) just 2 blocks away, with bike paths leading in all directions for a great way to ‘feel' the city. And our famous Atwater Farmers' Market bordering the canal is just a 10-minute walk from the house. The Atwater metro, and your access to the Montreal underground shopping experience is literally just up the street (5 minutes). The Lionel-Groulx metro station is a 5 minute walk down the hill, and is a convenient stop for the airport 747 shuttle bus. Popular areas such as Griffintown and the Old Port are also within walking distance or a short cab ride. You are virtually at the heart of wherever you want to go!

Atwater Market is a 10-minute walk.

Griffintown, the new hipster area along Notre Dame Street is a 20-minute walk.

Grand Prix and/or Osheaga are 35 minutes door-to-door via Metro.

We call it the "Happy House". The minute you walk in, you feel good. It's warm, cozy and full of positive ambience. We love it because it's situated in a little enclave that is so quaint, calm and picturesque, yet just minutes away, you're in the heart of downtown Montreal. Walk out the door and go to one of many coffee shops and restaurants in the hood. It's literally the perfect location!

Our home sits facing a park complete with playground, basketball and tennis courts. Kids love it! Lush, green and quaint.
