Great cozy condo. Very comfortable and clean. Owner was great to work with. Bit of a walk to the village, especially in ski boots, but there is a free bus every 30 minutes going to the lifts.
Nice to hear that you had a great stay. I agree that it would be a long walk to the lifts in ski boots, so we recommend that guests take the free bus or, if they have a car, drive a short distance and park in Lot 6 (which is ski-in ski-out) which is just above the Upper Village. I also note that we love walking to the village, and this is a only a 5 minute walk (if you're not in ski boots).
This property was prefect for our ski/board trip.. the house was perfect. Everyone had comfy beds and the layout was great. We had 2 vehicles but never really used them. You can walk to the village in 5-7 mins and the lifts in a short 10-12 min walk. The grocery story also a few mins away. The owner is great to deal with. Don’t pass this place up. All u need.
Impressive unit and Genuine Owner
Stayed here for the New Year weekend for 3 days with 6 people and we all had a great time with a even greater value.
Even in the 17 degree cold its still within a walk able distance of many places and didn't feel the need for using a car or taxi while staying here.
The bedding was complimented by all of the guests and everything seemed cleaned. There are a few extra pillows and towels if you need them, so be sure to check under sinks or in closets if you feel low.
The kitchen, while also having most utensils and small appliances you could need, is a open to the dinner table and living room enabling a comfortable place to gather together.
There is patio furniture hanging in the garage, it was a bit too cold for us but in the summer warmer months is also a perk.
There is guest parking around the complex if you happen to arrive separately as a group like we did too.
Overall a great place that supported a great vacation.
Our new favourite place at Whistler
We have stayed at dozens of places at Whistler over the years. Here's why this is our new favourite:
-great location: very walkable to the village but quiet
-lots of room: spacious bedrooms upstairs plus lots of living space downstairs. The extra bathroom downstairs is a bonus
-plenty of outdoor access: a lot of places at Whistler aren't great in the summer because you can't get outdoors. This place has a beautiful back lawn plus a balcony out front.
-hot tub: just outside the backdoor, it is private and offers a great view of the stars
-thumbs up from the dog: we appreciated being able to bring our dog and she loved the big lawn outside the back door
-nicely furnished and clean: someone is taking care of this place. It is nicely decorated and everything was in top working order
-well equipped kitchen: it had everything we need and a nice open layout so we could entertain and cook
With no elevators or long stairways, we loved being able to easily access the garage or just walk outside the front door. This was a wonderful space for a family escape.
