Happy rest of 2018!!
Very comfortable for 2 couples but both bedrooms are up or down stairs.
Beautiful location but road up is not in good shape / no fault of the owner though!!!
I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay at our
Mountain Cabin!! We would like to invite you back
Yes, the asphalt road is getting ruff as you hit the top, because of weather, they do try to patch though;-/
The way the home is arranged, allows
for privacy, the Master is on the 1st floor
great room in the middle and the small bedroom along with the
Guest bedroom are up on the 3rd floor;-))
There is also a sofa queen in the den.
Have a great rest of 2018!!
Great house, had everything needed and then some. Terrific owner
FANTASTIC!! We enjoyed a "kick back" vacation.
Great house, views, accommodations, location, owner
I am so glad you all had a nice and relaxing stay !!Thank you for communicating and for
helping out with the pond.
I'm glad that you could give Jessie the info
so he could patch the small leaks;-))
I'm sorry you had to leave early because of Florence I would like to invite you back ,just remind me!!
Have a wonderful rest of 2018!!
Home was very nice but the driveway was very difficult to drive up.
We enjoyed our stay, but it took at least 20 min to get to Asheville. The road to the house was in bad shape which took extra time.
We have finally gotten our gravel guy out to smooth out the issues;-)) Because of all the rain this summer, areas really got washed away;-((
Our property distance is in the middle of Black mountain & Asheville so that is why the location is desirable , yet it is far enough to feel the mountain living;-))
Please look us up in the future, our driveway will be better.
Have a great rest of 2018
Your in the mountains. Super spot
Nice place to getaway too. Very relaxing and just far enough away from Asheville to feel like you’re in the mountains, but a quick drive to downtown. Thanks
William I'm so glad that you found my Mountain Cabin relaxing .
Yes, the drive is not bad for most people,
and i like the fact that you are 15 minutes to
Asheville and also 15 to Black Mountain!!!
Pls look us up in the future , we would
like to have you back as our guests.
Immaculate cabin with amazing views
Our family (including a 1.5yo and a 6yo) had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was very clean and well-stocked. I already miss the view! The kids had a great time exploring and appreciated the games around the house.
The driveway is a little challenging - I was glad we were in a truck! But it's totally worth it. We missed the driveway the first time and ended up going much further up the mountain than we needed to. That was scary, so my advice is to not rely on your GPS - screenshot the directions from the owner (rookie mistake!) and map it out ahead of time. You do not want to back down a mountain. Haha
The rooms are very large and there was even a crib for the little one. If you have a little one who isn't good with stairs but insists on trying them, consider bringing a couple of babygates. In addition to the main staircase there's a stairway without a door leading to the lowest level.
We had an amazing trip to Asheville and I'm so glad we chose this property! It yas tons of space and everything you need for a great stay.
Thank you for your informative comments and nice review;-))
Yes ,maybe I should state that the home is not
baby proof , but we welcome everyone!!
We could purchase a baby gate for the stairs
going to lower level;-)) I will look into that.!!
We have been trying to get our gravel guy Jessie
out there for months to smooth areas, But with all the rain he has
had to postpone and reschedule , but we are aware of the bumpy gravel driveway;-(((
Look forward to having you back as guests!!
