2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, steps from the village shops/jitney/train & water!
Love and respect the North Fork and our Greenport neighbors. So grateful to have this relaxing getaway, and always treat it with love & care.
Brian purchased this House in 2016
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We are well-versed in the Home Away stays and this was one of the best yet! Brian was stellar and the ultimate professional (communicative and timely in his responses). The house is the kind of house you know the owners would love to stay in themselves; it is clean, homey, full of historic character. In essence, it is loved and therefore truly a home away from home.
We will surely back - thanks Brian!!
The most exquisite house
One of the best houses I have ever stayed in. No detail has been overlooked - Brian's house is beautiful, comfortable, with every area a pleasure to be in. Great sunny kitchen, lovely sheets on the beds, serene garden for a morning cup of coffee, airy, breezy and light-filled rooms everywhere. Brian, the host, is a true master of feng shui! Cannot wait to return.
Fabulous house in town!
We (family of four, kids 9 and 11) loved this house. Its location is perfect - really in the middle of Greenport village, a charming town with a ton to explore. It's walkable to restaurants, a brewery, coffee shops, a bookstore. The house was well decorated, comfortable, fully equipped, nice outdoor space. The bedrooms were kept very cool during a particularly hot week. Bath was spa-like! Brian was incredibly helpful about fun things to do in the area (we did them all!!) and quickly responsive. We would definitely return!
Would come back!
My daughter and I stayed at this property and had a great time! The home was set up beautifully and no attention to detail was left behind! From the bottle of wine that was left for us to cheers to...to the coffee pods in the morning for us to enjoy a nice cup out on the deck.
Brian, the owner, was attentive to all our needs. A great list of recommendations were left for us (as well as emailed ahead of time), he also made sure our check in went smoothly.
The location of this property is also nice. We could walk to all the stores and restaurants yet it was tucked in a little neighborhood that was quiet for sleeping :)
We would definitely come back!
My husband and I just traveled to the North Fork in the off-season for a relaxing getaway after spending 4 days in Manhattan -- it was fabulous. The house was so cozy with the fireplace, beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and very clean! The kitchen was well-stocked (including a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery--how sweet!) We enjoyed making a couple of meals at home, getting food from the delicious seafood markets and fresh produce stands. The host gave the most amazing recommendations of things to do, see and eat around town and was extremely helpful. Everyone in the town was very nice.
This would be dreamy place in the summer, as well. Although the oversized boathouse doors were closed for the winter season, I can imagine how great it'd be in the summer to open them up while enjoying the outdoor patio space and grill.
Truthfully a magical place in a nice, central location! I hope to return again very soon and would recommend this place to anyone.
My wife, son, and I fell in love with this property - beautiful, historic, convenient, and comfortable. The house truly is a designers dream with every detail cared for and curated with a nice open layout, big bedrooms and bathroom, and all the amenities one hopes for when renting a house. We loved the indoor/outdoor fluidity and took advantage of all the comforts and charms that this property has to offer. The location is perfect - quiet, private, and a short stroll to town. Brian was a fantastic host (responsive, considerate, and polite) and we look forward to coming back as soon as possible!
