We have been providing furnished housing on Capitol Hill thru our main business Capitol Hill Stay for 20 years. We live on Capitol Hill, a couple blocks from this property. We are a veteran-owned small local business. We do this full time. This is our only source of income. We both traveled a great deal both in the military and in private business. Often it wasn't a great experience. So we decided when we started 20 years ago to try to provide the best lodging experience possible - pleasant, clean, professional, hassle-free, and in interesting, well-kept places. We also pride ourselves on being open to all. We do not discriminate and we welcome all.
Why Brian Stansberry chose Northeast Washington
Remarkable Capitol Hill apartment. Entire top two floors of 1850s building. Tons of light on three sides. Huge roof deck. Beautiful side gardens. One bedroom is quite large. The other is fairly small. Unbelievable location on beautiful street. Since this is a top floor apartment we would ask guests to be reasonably quiet since two apartments are below. Quiet hours after 10 pm would be in effect.
What makes this Apartment unique
Capitol Hill is an outstanding neighborhood. It's historic, charming, and ideally located at the absolute geographic center of DC. Terrific safety, with the US Capitol police patrolling the area. Home to many politicians, media figures, etc. Corner groceries, pharmacy, great diner and dry cleaners a two minute walk away. Eastern Market (farmers market and baker/butcher etc) is a few blocks away. Amazing restaurants and lively bars within blocks! Whole Foods and several other supermarkets in the neighborhood.

We require a photo ID (can just be cellphone pic of drivers license or other government issued ID) within 24 hours of booking. The credit card used to book must be in your name. Early movein and late moveout MAY be possible if requested prior to booking. Movein is no earlier than 2 pm and moveout is no later than 10 am. Luggage MAY possibly be left prior to 2 pm or later than 10 am if requested at time of booking. Pets may be allowed only if requested at booking. Dogs must be nonaggressive and not make noise in a manner that would bother others. There may be breed and size limitations. There may be an additional $45 cleaning fee to certify the property is suitable for those with pet allergies after you leave. Parking MAY be possible if requested at booking. Please do not assume parking is included automatically. It may be an additional $20 per day. This property is in an upscale residential area. We expect guests to respect their neighbors. Please be reasonably quiet. No parties or gatherings. Quiet hours after 10 pm. Anything wrong with the property must be noted within one hour of movein by contacting us through VRBO/HomeAway. Failure to move out as scheduled may result in a $500 per day fee and/or all lost rents Owner may incur .
