Bahia Mar 175 is a beautifully restored 3 bedroom / 3 bath condo. Located in Building 1, the closest building to the beach. After Hurricane Dolly, in 2008, the Bahia Mar resort was completely restored with two new beautiful pools and hot tubs.

This condominium has two levels. The master suite is by itself on the second level with a king bed (hotel quality firm mattress with a memory foam mattress topper for cushioned support) and an en suite bath (shower/tub combo) and private balcony. The beautifully furnished and decorated first level has a large second bedroom with two queen beds, en suite bath (shower/tub combo) and private balcony. Our third bedroom is also on the first level with 2 queen beds (hotel quality firm mattresses with memory foam mattress toppers for cushioned support). The bath for the third bedroom (walk-in shower) is just outside the bedroom door so that it can also be accessed from the living area.As you prepare to enjoy your time on the beautiful South Padre Island beach the last thing you want to worry about is losing or misplacing a key. Bahia Mar is equipped with a key less entry lock that will offer you easy access and more security on your vacation.

No need to keep track of who in your group has a key or leaving a door unlocked as you make a quick trip for supplies. Your group will have your own personal code that will not be reused, and all codes expire after your stay giving you and your family added security. We look forward to hosting you on your vacation.

The Kitchen contains major appliances such as flat top range, refrigerator (new as of 09/30/2015 and has ice an ice maker), dishwasher, and microwave. Counter top appliances such as coffee maker, toaster, and blender are also included.

There are coin-op laundries in the Bahia Mar, however, we felt that we needed to give our guest the convenience of a washer and dryer (new as of 10/6/2015) in the condo. To get down to the beach, just go down stairs and you are just 100 steps from digging your toes into the soft, warm sand. Volleyball nets are set on the beach seasonally as well as beach chair and umbrella rentals. During the peak season, jet ski rentals and banana boat rides are available.

Bedding: 1 King, 2 Queens, 2 Queens, Queen sofa-sleeper in living room. All sheets linens and pillows are provided. 10 sets of bath towels (bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth). TVs in all bedrooms and living room. WIFI. Phone for making local calls. Washer Dryer in condo (new as of 10/6/2015)

Modern fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. Plates, knives, forks, spoons, drinking glasses, pots, pans, pasta strainer, can opener, cork screw, cheese grater, plastic mixing bowls, blender, toaster, microwave, dishtowels and many more items too numerous to mention. If you ever feel that you need an item that is not provided or is missing, or if any situation comes up during your stay that requires attention, we have a phone number that our guests can call our professional management service Padre Island Rentals 24 hours a day and speak with a live person. We do it because we want to earn your business and keep you coming back every time your vacation plans include South Padre Island.

The Bahia Mar Homeowners Association does set a maximum occupancy limit is 10 total with a maximum of 8 adults. The occupancy limit includes infants. We are not able to make exceptions on the maximum occupancy rules. Two free parking permits are included in this rental. An additional parking permit (if space is available) can be arranged for an additional charge.

Perfect fit for our crew!

The condo was a bright spot for the week considering the weather did not cooperate while we were visiting. The condo was in perfect proximity of the beach and other activities. We spent more time indoors than planned and it worked well because of the ample space, 4 tv's, 3 bathrooms (yea) and the hot tubs were a godsend! We would certainly recommend!

Everything you need and a great location

We were very satisfied with the condo. We were pleasantly surprised with wifi and ample kitchen amenities to cook for 8. We did report a loose stair tread on the exterior. The interior while in need of some updates was very clean and everything was in working condition. The TV/electronics were very updated and came in handy as we had cold and rainy weather. The hot tub was a very welcome amenity and very close as was the beach. We would rent the unit again.

Perfect Beach Escape

Bahia Mar 175 was the perfect condo for me and my family to enjoy our time at South Padre Island. It was spacious, clean, and has a recently updated kitchen. We loved the convenient washer and dryer located in the condo as well. The property is safe with on site security and has beautiful landscape. We loved the pool area that has a great deck for laying out. The beach is just a few steps away. Such a blast!

Low expectations

I have personally reviewed the condo and made sure everything we state will be there is in the condo, all amenities from Wi-Fi, cooking supplies, the beautiful beach front pool and hot tub are all working and accessible. Spacious and beautiful rooms with limited supplies and worn out appliances

This is the first time we stayed in S Padre Island. The area is beautiful, the beach is clean, our condo is spacious (beds) for 10 people. Overall, we have had a great time! The most convenient feature of this condo is that it has washer/dryer inside the condo (we could wash swimwears right away). However, it seems that the condo needs some maintenance work done. Our dryer did not dry (had it repaired right away, but still dried slow); refrigerator leaked water inside; dishwasher's detergent box was broken (we had to throw a detergent block directly onto the floor of the dishwasher). The kitchen/bathroom supply was very limited (we had only one stockpot, no kitchen scissors, no spare rolls of toilet paper ...). The office did give us two extra pots and one extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom when we went to the office to ask. We did not ask to have the dishwasher and refrigerator repaired because we could make them work somewhat and we only stayed there for 5 nights. We have rented beach condos in other places in the U.S. Only this S Padre Island place is reluctant to give out supplies (you have to go to the office to ask for a roll of toilet paper, extra garbage bags.). Even when you ask, you get one extra. If you want more, you have to ask again and you get two...). These things do not cost much, but provide great convenience to customers. I don't understand why Padre Island Rentals manage so differently from the rest of the U.S.

Check in upon arrival at Padre Island Rentals, 3100 Padre Blvd. at the corner of Padre Blvd. and Kingfish, 1 3/4 miles north of the bridge on the right side of the road one block north of the Blue Marlin Supermarket.

After checking in and receiving your parking permit make a right onto Padre Blvd. The Bahia Mar Resort, 6300 Padre Blvd (on the right hand side of Padre Blvd.), is less than 2 miles from our Office. Unit #175 is located on the north side of the Bahia Mar Resort. Turn into the north etrance and drive passed the hotel tower towards the beach. The condominium buildings are numbered. #175 is in building 1 on the third floor.

Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced.

2 bedroom maximum including children is 8

3 bedroom maximum including children is 10

Occupancy limits are controlled by the use of wristbands. When you check in at Padre Island Rentals you must put your wristband on at that time. Bahia Mar security guards will only allow persons wearing the bands to enter the property. If you have friends or family visiting you during your stay you will need to make arrangements to meet them somewhere else, they will not be allowed onto the Bahia Mar Grounds.

Each rental at the Bahia Mar will receive up to 2 parking permits. Any additional vehicles will need to park off property.
