Peaceful and Healthy Stay.
What a pleasant stay on the farm!
Nikki is a very fair and lovely host that will ensure your time on her property is as enjoyable as possible. She is also very knowledgable about The Big Island, farming, nutrition etc.
The room was bigger than the photos lead on and was very clean. We like to cook and it had everything you need including a blender, french press etc. Nikki even gave us some greens from her farm.
We spent most of our days on the patio just relaxing, reading and getting "away from it all". There are plenty of good beaches up and down the coast and healthy grocery stores nearby.
I really enjoyed the outdoor shower as well, a nice touch to feel immersed in nature. I would highly recommend staying here with Nikki, the place is fantastic and so is Nikki's hospitality.
it was a joy to have you and Chantal here!!! you are Sweet & Beautiful People...
The water was not potable nor abundant. There were notes reminding us to conserve the water. There was a tabletop dispenser with drinking water. We paid a cleaning fee but were requested to strip our bed and put sheets and towels on lanai near laundry. Nikki was out of town when we arrived. She had notified us of that before hand and we were totally fine with that. The best part of our stay was her friends, Merle and Shelly, who greeted us and were very kind and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. They showed us around the farm and answered any questions we had. They were great!
I'm so sorry these guest left giving a 2 star review...they didn't report any dissatisfaction and i am not sure why from reading the text..... They weren't feeling well and perhaps things appeared worse than they really were.
Just so readers know: i leave two 5 gallon jugs for drinking near the filled dispenser and refill the jugs if needed for drinking water. We are on catchment water here on the farm & people who are not used to catchment may feel more restricted then they really are. i let people know to use whatever they need... the tiny labels above the sinks are there suggesting to conserve when possible.... reminding us of the value of fresh, clean water.
Quite and great location.
Very pleasant and comfortable. We had everything we needed to make it feel like home away from home. Great location and easy access to beach and local towns.
loved having you and Lisa here! thank you for leaving everything so beautiful & taking care of the ohana so nicely.... stay healthy, keep biking! you are welcome back any time!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at this farm. It was so amazing to have seen this other
Part of hawaii! My favorite part was the sweet dog. She was such a little sweetheart!
Cute, cozy and magical.
Lovely avocado trees sway in greeting as you drive up towards the Papalani Farmhouse and Ohana. Close enough to Kona but far enough away to get away from the hustle and just relax. The outdoor shower was a favorite feature, especially at night while getting serenaded but the Coqui frogs. We stayed in the Ohana which has a beautiful lanai that looks out onto the garden but remains private and homey. Nikki was a gracious hostess who we enjoyed getting to know. Her dog is super sweet and loves all the attention she receives. We loved our stay and the pictures just don’t seem to do it justice. We would love to return next time we are on the Island and would highly recommend Papalani Oragnic farm as a perfect Hawaiian getaway.
Very relaxing and pleasant stay
We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Papalani Farm. It was a beautiful property to wander around among all the trees and plants that Nikki has growing. Nikki was a great hostess always taking time to answer our questions about her farm and the island. The property was exactly as advertised and very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to relax for a few days.
