This spacious home in the Sequoyah Hills Neighborhood offers a peaceful retreat just moments from downtown and the University of Tennessee, plus just steps away from the Third Creek and Sequoyah Hills Greenways. A fully-equipped kitchen, living room, study, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and 2-car carport offer all the comforts of home in a private setting.
This Mid-Century classic home is on the grounds of Historic Westwood and features a spacious, yet cozy, home away from home. You'll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, designer living room and sitting room, a study with flat screen television, Comcast cable, Wi-Fi, security system and parking for two cars in the carport. The home features two levels with a private bedroom, bathroom and sitting area on the lower level and two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, study, kitchen and sitting room on the main level.
The house contains all of its original 1955 features, but we've updated the decor and furnishings to create a relaxing retreat that is still just 1.5 miles from the University of Tennessee campus and 2.5 miles from Downtown Knoxville. We are also located on a main bus line and steps away from the Third Creek and Sequoyah Hills Greenways, so you won't need a car if that is how you like to travel. Knoxville also has Uber service available.
Check In: 2 p.m. - There will be a lock box on the front door of the cottage. We will email you the code for the box and the security system.
Check Out: 11 a.m. - Please turn on the security system, lock all doors and return the house key to the lock box.
The Kingston Pike / Sequoyah Hills Neighborhood is one of Knoxville's premier locations. Historic homes line the street and it connects Downtown Knoxville and the UT campus to the Bearden and West Knoxville communities. Parks and greenways abound and restaurants and shops provide top shelf service and variety.
The Knox Heritage staff is available to handle anything you might need and we've even stocked the fridge with wine, beer and sodas. Our goal is provide a worry-free and relaxing retreat during your visit to Knoxville. You are also welcome to enjoy a free guided tour of Historic Westwood during normal business hours.
