Beautiful Home, great location!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here for one week - not long enough - and thoroughly appreciated both the cleanliness and spaciousness of the home, as well as the location, very convenient to downtown. The back patio is nice and roomy, plenty of space for our family barbecues. For trips to Acadia, we used our own car and were in the national park within minutes.

The owners were responsive to all my questions and prompt.

I would definitely stay here again, we had a great time and really enjoyed this family friendly, roomy home!

Perfect house for 2 families

  • 5 of 5

We loved this well-maintained house. It was perfect for 2 families made up of 4 parents and six "kids" aged 25, 23, 21, 21, 18, and 15! The dining room table was long enough to fit all 10 of us for meals and the kitchen was large enough to handle multiple cooks. The house was well stocked with any dishes or pans we needed and had every spice we wanted. The linens were great and the linen room had more towels than we could ever need. The street was quiet while being just a few blocks from the town shops and restaurants. Parking was very limited (about 1.5 cars could fit) but we had no trouble finding parking in the same block. We want to come back!!!

Everything we were hoping for!

  • 5 of 5

This house was a wonderful family reunion site. The rooms are huge, beds comfortable, and very clean. The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything you need, but on a quiet street. Kitchen was well equipped and even had a full array of spices. The owner provided excellent customer service, giving us a charming handy man to take care of some early problems. Our 2 weeks flew by and it was a sad day when we had to pack up. Bar Harbor is truly an upscale destination for families and those who enjoy an active life style. Jordan's Restaurant is perfect for breakfast and only 1-1/2 blocks away. Lobster omelet...yum! The ocean is 3 blocks away and you can cross to Bar Island at low tide. The grandchildren spent endless hours there exploring tide pools. Would recommend this house and destination to anyone.

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely large house, well maintained in a great location. It's exactly as appears in the photos and was comfortable for our extended family gathering. We had a wonderful time.

The kitchen is well stocked so you can easily cook if you want. Plenty of linens and towels available. The house is 1/2 block from the edge of the downtown shopping and restaurants. Parking is tight at the house spaces but we were easily able to park on the street in late June with our extra cars. Everything was easy to get to and we entertained 3 generations with fun and appropriate activities for all. I definately recommend this house!

Coastal charm

  • 5 of 5

For my first visit to Maine , I couldn't have asked for more!! Bar harbor is the perfect spot- classic New England coastal charm with an artsy atmosphere. Plenty to see and do .Your home is lovely. There is plenty of space to bring along friends and family and still spread out. The kitchen makes it easy to eat in or go out to one of the many delicious spots in town- we tried most of them. The bathrooms allow for privacy among your guests and all facilities are updated and immaculate.Everything was available- linens, cleaning supplies, dishes etc. It is located in a quaint neighborhood. Just a short walk to anything and the surroundings inspire you to do just that- park the car and walk. We loved every minute of it and cherish the memory.
