About Denise Weeks
This lovely Villa is a tribute to my Mom. My sister and I purchased from the proceeds of the sale of her home in Bishopville. We wanted something near the water with lots of pelicans. She was born in Louisiana where the pelican is their state bird. We have enjoyed fixing it up and meeting up there with our families. We hope you enjoy your stay there.

Nice, well appointed condo on the pond with lovely view. Cozy, clean and comfy!
Stayed here for a week in March. The weather was really cold until the last day so we spent a fair amount of time in the condo, enjoying the view of the pond. I think the geese were having a regional caucus about their migration North this week, because they were a bit noisy in the mornings for the first few days and then they just disappeared! The condo is well-equipped with kitchen items, and there is plenty of place for people to sit--in fact, more furniture than is truly comfortable at first, but you actually get used to it, and it's nice furniture. The deck is large and overlooks the pond which is host to lots of interesting birds to watch. There's a water tower in the background which is the only sign of industry in view.
The bedroom downstairs has two twin beds and a bath with shower/tub, and the upstairs bedroom has two doubles (or maybe they are queens?) and a bath with shower. The hot water is fantastic here--comes on in an instant. There's an electric 'fireplace' unit that is a heater, which we really needed this week, and it's nice to watch the 'flames' even if they aren't real :) The unit looks like it was updated not too long ago--the tile floor that looks like beachwood, lovely colors on the walls and nice accessories (which could be thinned out, but to each his own). Appliances work well (electric stove) and there are great instructions around the unit if you have questions.
There is wi-fi, and we used it a lot since we spent so much time in the unit. At one point it just went off, and the owner was great about replying and letting us know how to fix it (there's a switch by the kitchen that is connected to wifi--would probably be a good idea to mark this for future guests).
Litchfield by the Sea is a really lovely community, and the beach is just across the street from this condo, as are the tennis courts. I imagine in April this place really gets hopping, but in March it was fairly quiet. There is a bounty of golf courses nearby--we played The Tradition and Litchfield, but within an hour's drive there have to be six that are good and accessible. I would highly recommend Frank's as a place to dine--great food and atmosphere. You'll see lots of golfing groups, but families too, and they have several nice outdoor spaces for cocktails, small bites and dinner.
It's a great test of a place when you have to spend a lot of time there, and we enjoyed every minute!
Very comfy. Updated nicely and the lake view was beautiful. we will be back !!
A great rental place!!!! Nicely updated

Beautiful condo !
Condo was very clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the lake. Great location for beach and restaurants.
Lovely Condo with lake view
We enjoyed our stay very much in this lovely condo. It has a wide deck overlooking one of LBS many small man-made lakes. The path to the beach is only a few steps away as is the pool dedicated to Heron Marsh residents and guests only there art two bedrooms and baths - one of each upstairs and downstairs. The lower level bedroom contains two single/twin beds and the upper level contains two queen-size beds. The décor is light and airy and "beachy" and the kitchen has everything that you need. We hope to return one day.
This was a great condo to stay in, it has a great view off the back porch and a short walk to the beach. The Condo was clean, and the living room was very nicely updated. However, if you are planning on cooking I suggest bringing your own seasonings and buying aluminum pans down there. Also bring your own paper towels and toilet paper as that was not provided to us. Lovely bedrooms, decorated great, all the mattresses could stand to be replaced or at least flipped! Overall it was a nice stay and I would return again.
