Roost in the "Second Flight" apartment minutes from downtown in the Short North arts district, 5 blocks from OSU and 1/2 a block from grocery store, public transport, while exploring the city and its nightlife. "Second Flight," a light filled, one bedroom flat nestled on the second story in the back of our overgrown Victorian home with private entry, comfy Queen bed, high ceilings, hardwood floors, full functioning kitchen and private bath makes for a cozy walkable getaway.
PARKING: The city now regulates street parking in our neighborhood. If you will need parking during your stay please give us your license plate state and number well in advance of your stay, so we can provide you a temporary permit. If we run out of free guest passes we will provide you with a link to the city parking app to obtain a $6 per day permit upon your arrival.
The apartment is especially good for couples, small families and visitors to the Ohio State University and Columbus Convention Center. Formerly servant's quarters overlooking the back yards of historic brick Italianate and Queen Ann houses, it has a large desk for work surface, WIFI, and a 40 inch TV with Cable,DVD player and HDMI inputs. Head to the OSU game or out into the Short North for coffee, bites and drinks -- on foot or by bus 1/2 a block away in THE most walkable district in the city. Then come home and curl up. You'll find groceries at the nearby Kroger (1/2 a block) or goodies and ethnic foods at the North Market next to the Columbus Convention Center, and a host of great restaurants for every taste between here and there.
