Our 1940's 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage is cozy, comfortable and close to it all. We are a short 10-12 minute walk from the MARTA train making it easy to get from the airport and easy to get most anywhere in the city. We are also just a few miles from the airport if renting a car. It's also a perfect crash pad for airline professionals. The corner lot and fenced in yard provide privacy. This mid-century home has been restored giving it lots of charm. The neighborhood is a historic neighborhood with cute diners, pizza joints, pubs, cafe's and even a speakeasy.

Comfy beds, warm shower, and all around amazing!
I really liked it! It was close to lots of restaurants and it wasn’t that far from downtown. It was also extremely close to the airport, which was really nice. It’s a really great place to come back to after a long day. Quiet neighborhood and peaceful environment.
Nice quaint little place to stay.
The place was perfect fir us. We were flying in from a week long trip and leaving out the next day. We were able to wash our clothes while we recovered from jet lag. We had some fresh eggs waiting fir us tto make for breakfast. They provided us with some wine, but because we were so tired from our trip, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it.
Comfortable and a good value
I had to go to Atlanta for work and was able to book this property to stay with my husband and three-year-old daughter for a week. The location was great. It was convenient to shop for essentials and was a quick drive to the city for them to see the sights. The house is older and located in an established neighborhood but we found it clean, quiet and comfortable enough that we tried to book it again for another work trip but the dates were unavailable.
Everything was great !!
We really enjoyed everything !!
I would NEVER recommend staying here. However I will mention the positives first. The renter was very kind and responds quickly to inquiries. They allow pets which is so wonderful for those who need to bring them along.
Now to the negatives: The absolute worst part about the property was as soon as we walked in we were immediately smacked in the face by a horrible musty, stale smell. It literally was overpowering. It made you feel so gross and we were self conscious that we smelled like it when we went places. It smelled like the house had been sitting there untouched for years. The owner told us the “cleaner” was there before us, well if they were they should be able to recognize the smell as well. I highly doubt actually cleaning products were used.
I know that the renter is trying to sell the “historic charm” of the cottage but that doesn’t mean you just slap some paint and throw new bathroom sink and toilet in a very old house and call it done. The living room was a joke. It had a small uncomfortable couch that looked like it was 50yrs old. The cushions were flat and pilling. We couldn’t even feel relaxed after we put the kids to bed because everything just felt gross.
The bathroom had a pedestal sink, toilet and shower. But no shelving or cabinet to even put your toothbrush down or other toiletries. We had to put our toothbrushes and other stuff on the washer in the hallway. The mirror was so small and up so high that I couldn’t even see in it.
There is a grate on the floor in the hallway that you have to walk on to get to the bedrooms that feels like youre going to fall through any second.
The yard is very poorly cared for. It’s an unsecured fenced in yard that if maintained could be a huge selling point but instead it’s overgrown with weeds and debris.
Overall the property just feels dirty. We were reluctant to use any of the dishes because it all just felt gross. I was looking forward to a small cottage in a nice little community but the whole time we couldn’t get out of there fast enough each morning. We literally spent no time except for sleeping in there. If we wouldn’t have had our pet we would have just ate the cost and went to a hotel. There were even more issues but I think this is enough.
I’m sorry to be harsh but the property has some potential but needs a lot more work and maintenance.
Comfortable and Cute
A friend and I were attending a conference near the airport and this house was in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the house was very comfortable. The owner was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks!
We are in the same neighborhood as one of the only velodromes in the country. Get a chance to watch an exciting high speed cycling race on the track or rent a bike and take a few spins around. Fun for kids too!
