About Patty Oxford

Just purchased this unit November 2016 after looking for several months. I chose because of great location in the complex; close to the pools but not too close . . . corner unit for more light and trade winds. I started in the hotel industry in 1980 in Steamboat Springs and have worked for Starwood Hotels, Hyatt Regency, and InterContinental before owning and managing my own award-winning B&B in San Luis Obispo. After I sold San Luis Creek Lodge, I purchased several condos and homes in Kauai and California to own & operate.

Why Patty Oxford chose Poipu

Perfect location close to pools and trail; away from parking lot and Poipu Road. Private double row of palm trees off of the living room and both bedrooms. Corner unit means more light and trade winds. New porcelain wood-look flooring throughout; new ceiling fans. Love being close to 3 pools and just a few minutes from the 4th pool. Five quick minutes down to Brennecke's & Poipu State Beaches.

As previously mentioned, our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter are permanent residences of Koloa and we travel over to the island 2-3 times a year. We will check with you first on availability, before looking elsewhere for accommodations.

Close to Anara Spa at the Grand Hyatt, Poipu Shopping Center, two golf courses and Kukuiula shopping center (great restaurants, galleries, deli/store and shopping). Convenient to Outfitters Kauai for all activities, tours & more rental equipment. Fun closet features boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, beach towels, picnic basket, 3 bicycles and more. Wednesday Farmer's Culinary Market at Kukuiula is not to be missed. Sunday and Tuesday luaus at the Grand Hyatt are worthwhile. Sunsets from the Marriott Waiohai are excellent with happy hour and live music 6 days/week.

Amazing! Condo was beautiful and well-furnished and Patti was great to work with!

Condo was well-furnished and had all the extras we needed. Location was so close to our favorite beaches in Poi'pu. Owner did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable and we'll-taken care of.

Wonderful stay!

Owner was easy to work with. Property was beautiful- 5 min walk to the beach. Condo was in great condition with every amenity needed for a wonderful vacation. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Poipu!

Great location, wonderfully decorated and furnished

This condo is a 5 minute walk from the beach, and nestled between two of the community's pools. It is luxuriously decorated and very well furnished. Most other rentals lack furniture for the space, but this place feels like you are living in a model home. I like that everything is labeled (what light switch controls what lamp / fan, and what each drawer in the kitchen is for). The appliances in the kitchen and the laundry are new and work great. The kitchen is well stocked and has good quality pots, pans and even knives.

There is a lot of beach equipment available for your use (chairs, umbrellas, towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards,etc.).

It doesn't get much sun though, and can feel dark sometimes due to the vegetation, but since there isn't an A/C, that does help keep the temperature down. There are plenty of lamps and lights if needed. There are a lot of fans in the house, so you can stay comfortable even without A/C. It really isn't an issue at night, since the entire island cools down.

The building is well built, and we did not hear any noise from any of our neighbors. There are no creaks or plumbing noises at all.

We travelled with our toddler, and this condo has a great pack'n play and also a booster seat (with tray). This is an awesome option for those of you traveling with young children.

The front door has a combo smart lock, so it is great not having to carry around (and sharing) a physical key. There is a lock box with a key in case there are any issues with the lock.

Patty was easily reachable, and we did not have any issues with our stay.

Spacious, Clean, and Well Equipped

Excellent layout and condition, with very well equipped kitchen and beach supplies, and great location--near pool, barbecue, shopping, dining, and many beach options.. One complaint is the small lanai, with no view and uncomfortable outdoor eating area. The unit is a little dark.

Yes, both lanai's were designed a bit cozy in all of the Regency Villa condos but pool areas are just steps away; many guests enjoy poolside meals near the gas grills there. It is a bit darker with new dark floors but the orientation keeps it relatively cool. This quieter corner unit benefits from consistent trade winds, location on semi-private greenbelt, and is away from the road with quick short-cut to the beach trail. Brennecke's Beach is just a quick 5-minute walk away.

We had a fantastic stay in this comfortable, roomy well equipped condo.

What can I say but Patty’s place was fantastic. For a family of 6, there was plenty of room, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was central to everywhere with having a car.

The walk to the beach was very easy and it was great having the beach gear to use.

It was also great having the pool so close by.

Patty was very accommodating and replied to my messages straight away.

It was fantastic having the washer and dryer to use also and the little extras of washing powder, dryer sheets, spices in the kitchen was great to not have to think about.

I would highly recommend this condo to anyone, we loved Kauai and hope to return again some day.
