Very nice place!!
Loved the location. Place was very clean. Old school. Reminded of old times up north. Awesome place
We were pleasantly surprised.
Woohoo! No TV reception & limited cell coverage. Unplugged from the daily 'news'!! Sunsets on the lake are beautiful! The ceiling is open with walls dividing the bedrooms from the living area. It's very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We plan to return next year.
Perfect weekend on the lake.
Stayed 4 nights for our 22nd Anniversary and had a perfect time. The accommodations were just as described. We had awesome neighbors to make it even better!
If you are looking for the perfect, off the grid vacation, look no farther than Black Lake in Northern Michigan. The Lookout and Cozy Nest provided the perfect lakeside retreat with everything we hoped it would be; lake front views, boat dock access to the lake, and did I mention no better sunsets can be found anywhere?
Black Lake is close enough to enjoy a day trip to Mackinaw City and Island but remote enough to get that unplugged vacation you are looking for. Not being boaters or fishermen ourselves, we enjoyed watching and hearing stories about the terrific fishing and water sports.
A Black Lake vacation is a must for a simple, affordable summer in beautiful Michigan!
