Come to our Oasis and enjoy wonderful ocean views from our large, comfortable deck. Begin your morning watching the sunrise over the Gulf while enjoying that first cup of coffee. Step outside and enjoy a stroll along the beach. We have a third bedroom that opens to a deck where you can view the sunset.

Doug and I live in Atlanta. We love to travel and love the beach.
Kathy Oliver purchased this house in 2006
We love warm weather and love the beach. We visited Galveston with friends and found everyone to be so friendly and welcoming that we were just drawn in.
We love walking on the beach. Love waking up in the morning and enjoying breakfast while looking out at the Gulf and watching the sunset in the evening. It's fun to go into Galveston for lunch or dinner and walk along the Strand. One of our favorite things is to go to the wharf and buy fresh seafood from Katie's and cook it at home.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. The weather was perfect and the kids spent tons of time on the beach. The house was great - you can bet that we will be back!
We really enjoyed the CLEAN space in this home. 3 bedrooms, 2 FULL bathrooms, great kitchen and eating spaces. I enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the pelicans fly by.
Owners were very helpful before and during our stay, replying to emails daily when necessary.
Nate's West End Restaurant was convenient on Sunday night when everything else was closed by 7 p.m. My favorite "non-chain" restaurant was Jimmy's on the Pier.
We would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Galveston who do not want to be in the middle of all the main attractions. Very peaceful.
this is an awesome and comfortable beach home..everything we needed was there for us..very clean..everyone was friendly and a good time had by all ..lots to do in area for all ages..our group had ages from 62 yrs old to 3yrs. old..highly recomend a charter fishing tour..it was a blast...!!everyone wants to return SOON!!! the owners and the caretaker couldn't have been any nicer...Thanks for everything and I hope to be back SOON!!
The family (6 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful time at your home for Thanksgiving week. Spent time fishing, walking the beach, dolphin watching, shopping the Strand, seeing the Christmas holiday lights at Moody Gardens, and just relaxing. Our favorite place was the sunroom. The view was perfect of the ocean and we spent many hours talking, laughing and sharing in this room. The home was clean, plenty of linens, and with a one minute walk to the beach, what else could you ask for? We took the liberty of re-naming our beach "Edstewvens Beach" for our 3 families. We all want to go back again!
What an enjoyable time! We loved that the house was close to the beach. The house was clean and spacious. The ideal space for my family. I would highly recommend this house and will definitely go back.
Great view even for a second row house- you are immediately on the beach. The way the deck and sunroom are positioned on the house allow for an unblocked view of the ocean. Worth mentioning: the sunroom on the deck is air-conditioned--an unexpected pleasure after being in the hot sun all day, makes for a cool spot to nap or read a book but you still feel that you are outside at the beach. Sea Isle is a fantastic neighborhood, they have a marina, pool, nice restaurant, store, private fishing pier, and a light menu bar&grill all within a short golf cart ride from this house. The bar&grill has a family atmosphere right on the marina, all ages, very nice local man spent time with my teen showing him how to play pool. Great house for the price and easy-going owners.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this house. The beach is literally outside the door. The house was open and spacious and was more than adequate for the 9 of us. The beds were comfortable and the house was neat and clean upon our arrival. The deck is awesome and had enough chairs for everyone. The owners were fantastic to work with and answered any/all questions I had in a timely manner. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thanks again for a great stay!!
Our home is in Sea Isle on the West End.
