If you like nature, the unit is two blocks from lake Washington and the Burke-Gilman Trails where you can rent bikes at Bothell Ski & Bike (less than 1 mile away). St-Edward's state park is just up the hill less than one mile on on Juanita Dr (tons of trails, lakes and Bastyr University (Alternative Medicine - very interesting)). There are over 100 Wineries in Woodinville ( (website hidden) / maps / (~ about 5 miles away)).
To get downtown, the best bus is no. 522. I believe the fare is 2.50 per way (25 minutes) there are also other buses during peak times, No 312 is the second best. Obviously in Seattle you have: Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, Pioneer square, Ballard Vashon Island! If you like science and technology: EMP, MOHAI, Living Computer Museum, without counting the other Art museum and galleries. One experience if you can't get into the Space Needle is Columbia Center Sky View Observatory. I don't believe there is a restaurant but you would be downtown... so tons of options!
I have a favorite restaurant myself: Cafe Campagne in the Market, I go there maybe once a month when I have guests, never disappoints. Best Happy hour in town is Barolo Ristorante but may be hard to get in. They have a sister restaurant: Mama Molina in the University district - just as good.
The express bus line to downtime Seattle running every 15 minutes / 10 minutes at peak hours is three (3) blocks away. The unit is located nearby Cascadia/UW of Bothell and both I-5 and I-405 freeway access.
