Overview

About the property

Apartment, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 3

This lovely South End condo has historic charm and a great, central location!

This condo is nestled among the scenic brownstones in South End Boston. Enjoy walks in the heart of one of Boston's most historic neighborhoods, check out the restaurants and shops within a few miles, or hop on public transit (there are several options within a few blocks) to strike out farther.

Have a quiet night in with cable while you return emails over the WiFi, or prepare a meal in the full kitchen with a dishwasher, coffeemaker, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

This studio can sleep up to four guests, with a queen Murphy bed and a sofabed. There's a full bathroom, and one floor up there's a shared laundry room to keep you in clean linens.

While on a walk around the neighborhood, stop in at Blackbird Donuts and try a new flavor - perhaps blackberry lavender or sesame sriracha. Grab a drink at Delux Cafe and enjoy the casual, friendly atmosphere and cheerfully kitschy decor. If you're buying a bouquet for your anniversary or a special night, Table & Tulip has gorgeous blooms.

There's nowhere better to see Boston in all its glory - reserve your dates today!

*Please note that there is no assigned parking for this condo and street parking can be difficult to find. It may be best to rely on public transportation or leave your vehicle in a nearby parking garage for a fee.

About Vacasa, MA - Boston Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a very comfortable stay in Studio 3. The location was ideal and centrally located—near to shops, restaurants, churches, Prudential center, T stations, and more, in less than a mile radius, all walkable. We especially liked being close to the Southwest corridor greenbelt for our walking path. Greenwich Park in the South End is a quiet, tree-lined, street with charming brownstone rowhouses. An excellent French café is just a few meters away for “better-than-what-I-had-in-Paris” croissant and great coffee.

Roger, the host, was readily available, providing his phone number and email address and was promptly responsive to our needs. We visit Boston on a regular basis and I would indeed stay in Studio 3 again. The Murphy bed was easy to operate and an ideal sleeping situation for a studio apartment. The apartment was tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and spanking clean when we arrived. We felt welcomed when we stepped into the apartment and soft music was playing and the ceiling fan was on. The room air conditioner was a welcome relief for a couple of hot and humid June days.

We came to Boston for our anniversary and had the best time! We walked EVERYWHERE as the apartment was very accessible. Loved having a kitchen and space to feel at home in during our stay

Lovely studio apartment

  • 5 of 5

A very comfortable base for two for exploring Boston. With the bed folded against the wall, there was plenty of space for hanging out when we got tired of sightseeing. Great location in what seems to be a very nice neighbourhood: Massachusetts Ave T station is just round the corner, and the Copley Square area is within easy walking distance. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, beautiful building!

My aerie in Boston

  • 5 of 5

An aerie in an Historic District in central Boston! What a way to spend a snowy ,February weekend. The studio,2 long flights up ,is in the trees of a block of Red Brick Victorian Row houses. The apt. offers exactly what you would want, all the basics of comfort for the visitor on the go. Its only 6 blocks from Copley Sq. and public subway trains. Its in a neighborhood sprinkled w cafes, restaurants and a market. It is a very comfortable place for 2 people ,the living area allows for visiting, watching TV, perhaps some limited dancing to the music in the TV or just to quiet time. The Galley kitchen provides what you need to put together a light repast, snacks n drinks, or a quick coffee n yogurt in the am.

The living area converts to sleeping w an easily managed and deliciously comfortable murphy bed. I left the pull out sofa bed untried as the sofa is a bit bumpy.

The apt is spare with a few decorative touches to bring a bit of warmth. It works out for the best as there is no clutter to deal with and there is space for the traveler to unpack some things.

The neighborhood has character, and you will want to explore a bit.

A wonderful feature of this rental is the availability of agents by long distance calling or a fellow who is nearby to answer calls, texts or emails immediately about anything in the apt. That service is invaluable to travelers and a single traveler or novice would even be more appreciative.

The access to keys and secure locks reinforce the feeling of safety.

My recommendation to the owners is to install a good sounding radio for those of us into that media, and to put the house keys on a keyring.
