Great house for large group, including kids

  • 5 of 5

We had 12 adults and several children stay in this house for a long weekend away. It had plenty of space for all of us. Not too far from Atlanta and great amenities within the community. Owner was very responsive to all questions. Would definitely stay again.

Great home for a group get away

  • 5 of 5

This is our third time staying at this home and it's great for large groups. It's a close drive to the wildcat recreation center where there are plenty of options for guests.

What a Fabulous Get-Away

  • 5 of 5

We were 6 couples sharing this home and it was absolutely perfect! Five of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the 6th has a bath just adjacent to it. The kitchen is well stocked, the decor is lovely and comfortable, there's plenty of parking, and we loved every minute. The dining room was even large enough to accommodate all 12 of us together. Booking and also communicating with the owners was easy and hassle free. If you're looking for a great place to have a large group gathering, you definitely want to consider this home. Even the view cooperated!

Beautiful cabin

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was very spacious and accommodated our large family of 11 adults with no problem. And the view is beautiful! The biggest negative is that the house is short on supplies. No extra blankets, the kitchen was very sparse with pots and pans, and no grill. Otherwise, it's a beautiful home.

Owner's Response: Donna, I am glad you enjoyed our home and the beautiful views. Thank you for bringing to my attention the issue of supplies in the kitchen. With a constant flow of guests, supplies can become misplaced or broken. I will certainly follow-up on the situation. I hope you will plan another trip to Big Canoe. Thanks again!

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

This house is just as it is described and then some! Our group consisting of three families ranging in ages 4 - 58 stayed in this beautiful, well-appointed home. It was spacious and very accommodating for our group. The teens had their own space upstairs while the little ones had a great play area on the lower level. We rent through VRBO quite often but have to say that this was the cleanest house we've rented. The location was great for day trips to Blue Ridge and Elijay and the Fainting Goat winery (15-20 minutes away) was a great place to visit for the afternoon. The fall colors were exceptional during our stay. Julie was a joy to work with from beginning to end and promptly answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay in this home again in the future.

Great home in Big Canoe with gorgeous view

  • 5 of 5

Our large group of friends and family visited Big Canoe for a wedding in October 2016. We reserved this house based on the photos in the listing. The photos and description provided us with an accurate vision of this rental before we even stepped in the door. There are 3 floors to the rental and tons of space. All bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The view from the 2nd floor porch was breathtaking and truly exceeded our expectations - this view can also be seen from the master bedroom. All rooms were utilized during our 4 night stay and our guests only had great things to say about the lodging accommodations. Julie was very responsive to inquiries, provided us with detailed information prior to our trip, accommodated an early check-in (was dependent on the rental schedule), and quickly refunded the deposit after our stay. Based on our very positive experience, I highly recommend this rental house.
