Large garden apartment (approx. 1200 sq. feet) with private entrance, 3 bedrooms and living/dining room,kitchen. Great for families with children adults traveling together or families. Super convenient to the city (10 to 15 minute train ride lower Manhattan). 11 train lines within a minute walk - 2,3,4,5,B,Q,N,R,C,G,+ Atlantic Avenue Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). PLEASE NOTE - This apartment is in a 2-FAMILY owner occupied building and it is not subject to the new NY law limiting short term rental of multiple dwellings... FREE WiFi PROVIDED; FREE PREMIUM CABLE with HBO SHOWTIME, etc; Washer/dryer with laundry soap in apartment. 3 bedrooms: Bedroom #1: King bedroom has glass door walk out to our bluestone patio backyard to relax and have a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind. Bedroom #2: Interior Bedroom has Queen sized bed. Bedroom #3 has extra long twin (single) bed with a pullout/trundle second regular sized twin (single bed). Full sized crib available also. We live in upstairs apartment and are happy to provide assistance! no parties or events.

We are in a highly desirable location and we have 10 subway lines within a block or two of our home including the B,D,Q,R,N,2,3,4,5 at the Atlantic/Pacific station recently renamed Barclays Stadium Center, C at the Lafayette Ave station and G at the Fulton station. Most trains are about a 10 minute ride to lower Manhattan.
There are many food markets, a green grocer, butcher, fish and cheese, wine stores, restaurants, clothing, bookstores, coffee bars within a one to two minute walk of our home.
The townhouse is a two family private dwelling that the owner occupies.
Fort Greene is one of Brooklyn's most dynamic neighborhoods that has become a destination for New Yorkers, Brooklynites and Tourist to visit in it's own right. There are many restaurants and shops and cultural activities along with the famous Brooklyn Flea, BAM, small theatres and Fort Greene Park. At the same time, the neighborhood has retained it's small neighborhood relaxed charm which can be a respite from the City.

We have lived in our two family townhouse since we purchased it in 1998. We love Fort Greene and are happy to introduce travelers to Brooklyn and our neighborhood in particular. Also one of the great benefits of our home is its close proximity to 11 different subway lines and Manhattan, making it incredibly convenient!

We are a two family owner occupied building. We do not fall under the recent New York laws limiting short term rentals in multiple dwelling - buildings with 3 units or more. We are here in the building available to hep you. We know about the neighborhood and are happy to advise on restaurants, transportation, etc.

Great property and location
Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. Easy walk to Whole Foods, target, subway, and great local businesses. Short subway to Manhattan.
Beautiful and comfortable Fort GREENE apt
Love staying here! Can’t beat the location. Close access to multiple subway lines, great restaurants, shopping, etc.
Comfort, style and great location
We spent ten days here in January and found the layout, the furnishings and particularly the location ideal. We knew the Ft. Greene area fairly well and had stayed in other apartments in the vicinity, but none combined the value, comfort and location advantages of this one. Of the apartment, we appreciated the small, but very well equipped kitchen. We found it more than adequate for preparing simple breakfasts to full dinners. The beds were quite comfortable. The bedroom layouts are well suited for a family or sharing with others who are close friends.
Apart from the physical characteristics of the apartment, the owners were very welcoming and attentive to us. They were quick to respond to the requests we made or questions we asked.
In sum, the apartment is well situated and has everything the independent traveler would want in this part of Brooklyn.
Excellent option to Manhattan
We are former New Yorkers as in smack in the city so bear that in mind; this apartment is garden level classic Brooklyn. Which to us means, none of the never ending Manhattan sirens and garbage trucks, car alarms, etc. There is some city noise, faint subway sounds which we actually found charming. For NYC this is a large apartment; we have friends with 2 kids in about 1/3 the space; but again, I'm a New Yorker; I get that. Clean, efficient; ready for us and the owner is upstairs, extremely helpful.

What a great apartment. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and close to great restaurants, grocery, subway, etc. Will definitely stay here again. Loved it.
Clean, Clean, Clean - Great Brooklyn Neighborhood Location for Restaurants/Transportation to NYC
Eight days here with one son's family for the other son's wedding. Clean apartment with great easy to work with owner. Grandkids had space to play and be kids. Close to everything like Park Slope, Parks, subway transportation to everywhere especially NYC from Atlantic Terminal, grocery store, very good local restaurants like DSK, Emily's and Speedy Romeo are worth a look. Kitchen is small but well provisioned with utensils and small appliances. We will stay here again when we visit our son.
We are located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn a hip historic brownstone neighborhood that is well known as a sought after happening place conveniently located with a very short subway or taxi ride to Manhattan (approx. 10 to 15 minutes downtown). In Fort Greene there are many shops, restaurants, fine food stores. Further the Brooklyn Academy of Music has 2 theatres where the finest plays, dance performance and music shows occur along with a cinema. If you come on the weekend don't miss the Brooklyn Flea famous for its food, vintage and new artisan goods! Finally we have a beautiful and relaxing park designed by the architects of Central Park!
