Why Thomas Cassidy chose Tucson
We bought this house and this property because it had what we were looking to find. Some space, stables, out buildings and a spectacular home. It is what we thought the southwest was supposed to look like and it is a Meets and Bounds piece of property...No HOA.
What makes this House unique
Lots of beautiful cactus with access to the Freeman Wash. Take a left in the wash and you can ride forever.....

Beautiful home with a sense of history
This is a beautiful home and so tastefully decorated. Modern comforts but with a sense of history. The outside areas are wonderful. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it was very inviting. We would definitely return to this lovely property.
What a beautiful home, backyard and grounds!!
We met our grown daughter and her family here for a five day weekend getaway in March. We loved our stay. The home is spacious and beautiful, yet very comfortable. Plenty of spaces to hang out together inside, but enough spaces to spread out when we wanted to. Kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked many of our meals. The back yard area is huge, and we spend much time sitting in the various areas by the fireplace, pool and lower terraces, soaking up the sun and enjoying the great sunrises, sunsets and views of the mountains. Pool is unheated, so a bit chilly for our tastes in March, but I expect that would be different in the summer. There are many acres of desert to explore on the property, which our 5 year old grandson enjoyed, and some huge cactus! Wow. Made for some great photographs. It truly felt like we were staying in a ranch on the edge of town, away from the traffic and bustle of the city. And we hiked at the Saguaro National Park, which is right around the corner. Tom the host met us upon arrival and departure, showed us around and made us feel right at home. Would definitely come back again.
A unique property close to Saguaro National Park East.
The House fit two families comfortably. We loved the open kitchen and the patio area.
Motoko and her family were terrific guests...they left they house very clean.
I would be happy to have them return for another visit anytime.
Golden Saddle Ranch
Beautiful house and AMAZING grounds!
My husband and I stayed at Golden Saddle Ranch over the Thanksgiving break with our three children. We couldn't have been more pleased with the property we selected. The kitchen was fully stocked and upgraded. Additionally, the owners provided an abundance of towels, linens, and supplies. The layout of the house was perfect. There are rooms for social family gatherings, and areas for more intimacy if some private time or unwinding is needed. The highlight of this property for me was the backyard. I cannot begin to say how spacious and beautiful this property is. The photos don't do the grounds justice, however, that made for a nice surprise. Tom, the owner, was very respectful, responsive, and easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family.
A gorgeous retreat with amazing views and lovely backyard
This house is just lovely. Beginning with the front gate, this owner has great style and the house just gets better! The backyard is an Arizona stunner with amazing views, gorgeous massive pool and the way beehive fireplace with seating and fountains are, it's just a perfect space to be in!! Such charm here at golden Saddle Ranch and the owner is was extremely helpful, accommodating and lovely too!! My favorite stay ever in Tucson.
