Bear Wires Instructions
Turning the system OFF:
At the FRONT of the home to the LEFT of the front door is the GREEN control box. Slide
the GREY lever to the LEFT/OFF position the green blinking light will go OFF and the
entire system is OFF.
Removing the wires from across the doors:
Unhook the wires one at a time and reattach to the opposite side or place them in a safe
place while you are home.
Turning the system ON upon departure:
Do not turn the system ON until all the wires are attached properly across each door.
The order of the wires does not matter just make sure they go straight across, attaching
on both ends to their own brackets. Attach one wire at a time straight across. Do not cross the wires.
Go to the GREEN control box and slide the grey lever to the RIGHT/ON position. The lights will start blinking and now the system is ON. Wait about 10 seconds for a the single blinking light to come ON. Make sure it is GREEN and on the far right. If you get a single RED blinking light, turn the system OFF and make sure all the door wires are
attached correctly. If they are call Bear Busters.

Cabin Set the Tone for Hygge Experience
Lovely cabin with all amenities we needed especially in the kitchen! Enjoyed the open space layout that combines the kitchen, dining room and living room so we can visit while we prepare food, added to the connection and over all hygge of the place and our experience.
We had a wonderful family gathering and really appreciated the number of beds and bedrooms! No views of the lake but didn't seem to matter since we spent all day hiking the Rubicon trail around the lake and got our fill of views.
Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and walk to see the lake at sunrise and sunset. The "private" beach is a bonus except with the general all round less beach due to the high water level and extra crowds for the holiday, it wasn't as private as we expected and still so grateful for the return of the water!
No air conditioning but with keeping the windows/doors closed until it cooled down and with fans we turned the corner and the cabin cooled down pretty easily, big plus for sleeping.
Thank you for offering stainless steel pan, glass or ceramic cooking dishes.
The owners were very responsive and helpful! Wish list would be to have the king bed in the downstairs bedroom. We will be back!
compact and complete
We had a very good time. We appreciated all the amenities--fully furnished kitchen, t.v., wireless, hot tub. Everything was very clean and ready to use when we arrived. Access to the Tahoe Park private beach was a wonderful perc. Sitting on the porch with morning coffee was very pleasant. We were a party of three people, all over fifty and not exactly a rollicking bunch, so what we enjoyed was a comfortable base from which we could hike and a serene Lake gazing spot at the private beach. The house was not large, and though in a neighborhood with many, many trees, there was no scenic view, however the private beach made up for that. The master bedroom was generously sized and had a private bathroom, and the upstairs bedrooms could hold quite a large family or group. Not fancy, but very comfortable and convenient.
July Family Vacation
Great for a family of 3-4-5 or even two couples with a total of 2-3 kids. Amenities are great, location is awesome if you are looking for place on the West Shore. Beach access is key, technology inside the home is up to date (i.e. a Chromecast to access your own technology viewing preferences). Could use a fan or two upstairs for when it's hot, but not a huge deal. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your stay and please come back when you can. Our heaters is each room also act a fans. I have place a few summer fans in the rooms as well. Thank you.
Great place for 2 families
We had a great trip in Tahoe staying with another family of 4. Being a cook, the kitchen was great for making meals and the long dining table was perfect for all 8 of us! Being close to the trails and having private lake access made it amazing! Also having a washer and dryer is priceless with kids:)
Only one thing to improve on would be to include softer mattresses, but it's hard to please everyone in that category. Thanks for a great place to stay.
The perfect property for a large group!
A wonderful property in an excellent location. The deck was beautiful and the backyard was very large and backed up to a secluded cul de sac. Access to Sunnyside was minutes away by bike or walking. The property has private access to the beach. I recommend calling the Lake Tahoe Park Association and reserving a picnic table if you or your family would like to have a nice BBQ on the beach. Only a few minutes by bike to the bike path which goes for miles. Excellent access to Tahoe City as well. The only negative which doesn't warrant knocking off a star was the lack of hot water. The hot water heater was weak at best throughout the day whether there was one person a day showering or four and you had to run the water forever, which in the drought, was not a comforting feeling. The owners were exceptionally helpful and provided outstanding customer service.
We spend a marvelous week-end at this location we just find it perfect. very relaxing and charming. we are thinking returning for the winter period. thanks to the owner it was perfect.
