Studio, 1 bathroom, sleeps 2
The gorgeous oceanfront paradise of Papakea expands over 13 acres of fish-filled lagoons, quaint bridges, beautiful lawns and colorful tropical landscaping. The exquisite burl furniture adds elegance which is rare in a Maui condo. As you lie in your studio's luxuriously comfortable pillow-top king-sized bed, nestled behind a fish pond and sprinkling waterfall, the tall foliage makes you feel you are the only ones on the island. Yet you can relax on your lanai and still see the ocean beyond the beautiful swimming pool.
The large cream stone Bali bowl not only serves as a kitchen sink, but is a wonderful conversation piece that contrasts with the deep green granite counters. Papakea C-107 provides great luxury at an affordable price.
With the gorgeous ocean beaches and beachfront restaurants only a short walk from your door, you may instead choose to play miniature golf on one of the two professionally landscaped putting greens, play on one of the two oceanfront shuffleboard courts, play tennis on the lighted court, snorkel and take pictures of colorful fish right off the beach, or take a dip into one of the two beautiful pools or hot tubs. Or you may want to take either a free swimmercize or yoga class or make some new friends in the round-robin tennis tournaments!
You can drive a couple of miles to a choice of championship golf courses - Kapalua or Kaanapali - or take a ferry to the island of Lanai for the Challenge of Manele. Your choice of water activities is endless. It's hard work having so much fun, so you may want to relax in one of Papakea's lawn chairs to enjoy the amazing sunset at the water's edge before making the difficult decision of which of the many first-class restaurants you will choose. Two of Maui's restaurants, Lahaina Grill and Mama's Fish House, were named in the top 25 restaurants in the U.S.
At the end of the day, sink into your luxurious bed, (guest after guest claims it is the most comfortable they have every slept in), pull out the room copy of Maui Revealed and plan your next day in Paradise!

Nice, comfortable, great view of the gardens and ocean
We stayed there for 6 nights. The condo is clean and quite and pretty. It had every thing we were looking for
Perfect place, clean and well equiped!
Everything was amazing, Nice pool, hot tub, BBQ..
Appartement was perfect.
Air conditionning is a bit to small for keeping cool, but fans do the job.
Love the Location of this Condo
The Papakea condo group was excellent and we are very likely to stay in a condo here again. The location of this was perfect. We were easily able to use it as our home base. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. Our only concern was the vessel sink in the kitchen. The sides of the sink were so high I was not able to clean vegetables without standing on a ladder.
Great place to call "home" while on vacation
We liked this room a lot. View of the pond and palm trees if we were sitting on the bed or a glimpse of the ocean if sitting on the patio. The room was clean upon arrival. There was a few books to look through along with beach towels and snorkel gear to use for a quick activity. The location was convenient to Kaanapali and Lahaina. Within walking distance was a great restaurant called Fish Market that had wonderful selection of fresh fish along with cooked food (tacos, Mac. Nut crusted fish, etc).
We also would spend mornings outside near pool watching for whales and saw some every morning.
Not about the room itself but only note to make about resort because I think its only fair to note- ocean front not beach front. There is no beach to walk along. We just did beach walking down the street so wasn't that big of deal.
Fabulous Home Away From Home
We kept a busy schedule while on Maui, driving around both mountains and even flying over to Molokai one day for a guided tour. But, each day it was great to come back to our wonderful Papakea condo to rest & relax.
Great condo on the waterfront
This studio condo was absolutely perfect for our stay in Maui. It was a great location and had everything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained. I loved having the kitchen, laundry in unit, and the pool access. Parking was a breeze.
Papakea is just minutes away from both Whalers Village and Lahaina, where you can shop, enjoy meals at first-class restaurants, or just go out for a night on the town. Parking immediately behind C107 is a great convenience. The resort is located near the uncrowded northern end of top rated Ka'anapali Beach with four championship golf courses nearby. There is great snorkeling right in front of the resort, two pools with spa tubs, two putting greens, a lighted tennis court, and a dozen grills set within 13 acres of tropical splendor dotted with koi ponds. A bridge leads to a property with an oceanfront cafe and a children's camp. Yoga, pilates and swim workouts are complimentary and surfing classes are available for a surcharge. The lush waterfall with craggy rocks, moss, and palms immediately outside your glass sliding door, explodes on your wall of mirrors which brings this lovely tropical garden view inside in a dramatic way. The tropical splendor outside your unit beckons you to explore. Take a stroll across your lanai to the edge of the koi pond in front of your unit. Stand on the little bridge and watch the calming motion of the many different colored koi in the pond. Look out over the grounds of Papakea and enjoy the manicured grounds the colored flower beds, the putting greens, and coconut palms. Walk over to the Molokai pool tiled to appear as if you are swimming with beautiful fish. Take a dip or relax in the hot tub or sauna. Papakea offers swimmercize lessons three mornings a week in addition to yoga lessons. Or you can check out shuffleboard or putting equipment from the Front Desk or snorkel or play in the ocean waves roaring right beside you. You can barbecue and picnic by the pool while you enjoy the never-ending waves that roll into Papakea's beach. You are on the Molokai side of Papakea and there is a mirror image on the Lanai side just a few steps away with more tropical gardens, the Lanai pool, another putting green and oceanfront shuffleboard. Your Papakea unit blends seclusion with the convenience of being right across the street from the best grocery store in the area, Times Market, a snorkel shop, delicatessen, Mexican Restaurant, real estate office, coffee shop, "make-your-own-pancakes" restaurant called Slappy Cakes, therapeutic massage, fish market, sub shop, Italian restaurant, fishing and tackle shop, and many more.
Rates & Availability
Additional information about rental rates
Before you make a reservation, please recognize that I book our units back-to-back where guests arrive in the afternoon of the morning other guests depart. If a guest chooses dates that are not back-to-back, then the goal is to leave a seven night space between bookings since that is what most people request. For example, please do not book 4 nights in the middle of 7 open nights. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING. There are certainly times where I will accept a small gap, but I would like to discuss this before you make your reservation. When you make your reservation and pay your deposit, please include your cell number when asked for your phone. Although I take credit cards for the initial deposit, I would appreciate you sending a check for the final payment as this helps me keep the rates as low as possible. Your initial deposit made online will include a booking fee that goes straight to VRBO/HomeAway for making your reservation. There is a Facilities fee of $17 per night for the first ten nights that you will pay directly to the Front Desk on check-out which covers, at no additional cost, parking, wireless internet, putters available for the putting green, yoga and swimmercize classes, and round-robin tennis tournaments. If you are reserving 12 or more days, my faithful and wonderful housekeeper, Luretta, has asked that I add a mid-term cleaning of $45 to clean the unit and change the sheets and towels. I will add another mid-term cleaning for each additional week you rent and as there is not a way to include these fees as part of the online booking, they will be added once you make your reservation. I am excited about helping you make this the most wonderful vacation ever! Sue
