About Sabine and Roland De Jong
We are a dual-nationality family, Dutch and French (originally from Lot-et-Garonne). We love the countryside and the charm and tranquillity of the region.
Sabine and Roland De Jong purchased this Farmhouse in 2002
Why Sabine and Roland De Jong chose Monflanquin
We want other people to enjoy this beautiful region and all the charms this department, almost unknown, offers. We have wanted to extend our experience in tourism. Inside the property, you will find a serene and soothing atmosphere that seduced us.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The serenity of the place will eliminate your stress. The gites are spacious, and each one is independent. It has a good location at the crossroad of Lot. Dordogne and the entrance of Lot-et Garonne will allow you to visit easily different landscapes and places.

Comfortable gite in a good location. Just off the main road between Monflanquin and villeneuve.
Enjoyed a week over new year. Very spacious and well equipped gite with access to lots of towns and villages within a short drive.
The WiFi does not work and 3/4G is very fleeting- which may be an advantage for some but as we were needing to contact people it was frustrating.
You also need to take your own towels which was annoying as we were flying with limited bag space so towels took up valuable space. And we’re damp on return.
Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
We enjoyed our stay.
The WiFi was checked and does fonction correctly, maybe some difficulties by entering the code? We stopped the towel service as people very often took them back home (damp..), plastic bag would have done the job, we think. Hope to see you again!
All the services are accessible in Monflanquin, a typical village located 6 km away from the property. You can enjoy several activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or swimming in the river. It is also a good starting base to discover the region, its vineyards (Cahors, Bergerac, and Saint-Emilion), and its natural sites.
