A cozy gem that sleeps 4, Fun and Games has everything you want in a Smoky Mountain cabin—and more. Whether you’re visiting with your family or enjoying a romantic weekend, the 1-bedroom log home offers plenty of amenities for everyone to enjoy.
Fun and Games is located in a private, quiet wooded area within the Sky Harbor community. Just minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare, it’s convenient to just about all the attractions the area has to offer, from Dollywood and the Titanic Museum to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area. When you’re nestled in the cabin, though, you’ll feel blissfully removed from the hubbub and the everyday.
With a covered porch, a balcony, and a large screened-in deck, Fun and Games offers plenty of opportunities to listen to the birds singing as the fresh mountain breeze rustles through the abundant trees. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch’s rockers or your evening meal at the deck’s patio table; because the deck is screened in, you won’t be pestered by buzzing uninvited guests. The deck also has a roomy hot tub, so you can luxuriate in the steamy water as crickets and owls serenade you at night.
While you might want to spend a large portion of your day soaking in the hot tub, there’s plenty more to do inside the cabin. The upstairs game room has a full-size pool table and a Vegas-style slot machine, along with a pub table for playing cards or enjoying drinks while you watch TV. The living room, on the main floor, has its own 42” TV, and the cabin has free WiFi if you can’t go a day without surfing the web.
The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area looks just as you’d want a dream mountain cabin to look: lustrous wood-planked walls and floors, a high sloped ceiling, log-style furnishings, a gas fireplace set in a stone surround. Nestling on the plush couches with those closest to you while basking in the warmth and golden glow of the fireplace is just the sort of relaxed evening you’ll remember fondly for years to come.
If you don’t want to dine on the screened-in deck, you can settle in at the indoor dining table. Likewise, if you don’t want to cook your meal on the deck’s gas grill, you’ll find all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need in the cabin’s kitchen. All you have to bring are food and an appetite! The kitchen even has a dishwasher—after all, who wants to scrub plates when you could be hiking in the mountains (or lazing in the hot tub)? And while we’re on the subject of conveniences, Fun and Games has a washer and dryer too, so you can run a load of laundry while shooting pool.
The bedroom, also on the main floor, encourages romantic evenings. There’s a king-size bed, of course, so that you can sprawl out to your heart’s content. What’s more, the en-suite bathroom includes a private jetted tub—talk about pampering!
The futon in the upstairs game room opens into a bed for 2. If you’re vacationing with the kids, they’ll no doubt love having a pool table in their sleeping quarters. There’s a 2nd full bathroom upstairs as well, so you don’t have to worry about a line forming outside your bathroom door when you decide to indulge in a long, lazy bath.
There’s plenty of fun and plenty of relaxation to be had when you stay at Fun and Games—and isn’t that what a vacation is all about? So book your stay today; we look forward to seeing you.
