Absolutely beautiful area. The weather was perfect, fresh air, birds singing..
The cabin was very nice, and fully stocked with everything we needed. I felt that the bathroom floors needed a good cleaning, and better dusting, but beside that we had a fantastic time, and want to give out a big "Thank You" to the owner for sharing his cabin with us....we will be going back.....people in town and surrounding areas are so very friendly
Thank you for the kind review. We are changing housekeepers and I will ask her to pay special attention to the floors and dusting you have mentioned.
The house is fantastic -- very clean, spacious and well stocked kitchen. The location is great, it is far enough off the beaten path but close enough to be convenient. That driveway is no joke!
Great Cabin. We had a great time.
The cabin was great for our stay for four people. It really would sleep well for 6 adults and 4 children with two on main, two in loft and two adults and four children in separate rooms with separate baths in furnished and decorated basement. Drive is steep but just drive past and back down no problems. Only a few minutes away from the state park and maybe 10 minutes to Helen. Would definitely rent again.
Perfect cabin for our family!
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for our family. There was 5 adults and 5 kids and we all had plenty of room. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The driveway was a little scary for me, but my husband backed our truck down without any problem. It was definitely manageable. Our favorite part about the cabin was the balcony. We enjoyed having our morning coffee in the rocking chairs and just listening to nature around us. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
Overall, Great Cabin
This was our second time at this cabin and it's still great. There were several improvement upon the first year. New carpet and outside garbage can (definitely needed), small renovations and more! Everything was in working order and the internet was great! The driveway is steep so know that going in. Wish we'd known the grill's propane tank was low, but I guess that's what we get for not checking.
Sorry to hear about the propane. We're going to research this one and see if we can come up with a better solution to keep this from happening. Hard to tell how much propane guests will use. thanks for staying with us again.
Clean, comfortable, beautiful pleace.
Wonderful cabin. Extremely comfortable, with space to relax in a beautiful setting. Very clean and well maintained. Everything you need for the kitchen/bath/beds, etc is provided. Close to Helen and other areas. It was a great place for our family mini-vacation.
