Filthy . Booked for 10 nights only stayed 1. It says you have a beautiful ocean view and View of buck island but to have that you need to walk out of the bunker style unit around the building and then you can see buck island. There were three small windows up high In the main room and if you look from them at an angle you can see a little bit of an ocean. The kitchen was bare, no cutting board but that was OK because there wasn't even a Knife that could cut a piece of fruit or a vegetable in fact no cutting knife at all, no toaster and a single coffee maker I asked the manager why there were no trays or pan so that you could bake something in the little oven and he pulled one of the racks out and said this is it and told us he was not supposed to provide everything. So if you like toast, pack your toaster. There was mildew on the boxspring not a small amount and he told us not to worry about that. We would recommend this place to no one. Beware beware
Beware Scammers: this review was done due to a refusal to give an upgrade to a unit which costs 5 times. Guests came on the property about 2 weeks prior to check in, parked their car, walked around the Property, took pictures of the upstairs unit and left on foot. Told to move their car and they became racially insultive. Finally, they told me they were going to cancel their stay. They did return; checked in on time. Enjoyed the seaviews outside their entrance door (see main photo). Inquired about the main unit on 2 occasions which cost 5 times what they paid and said that they were not going to pay that amount. Next morning the companion called. He had a list of grievances which he had written down. First he said the unit was dirty (It had been cleaned 1 day prior to arrival). He said he found a candy wrapper tucked in the kitchen cabinet; also, there was dust on a electrical strip behind the tv console against the wall. (Why would a guest remove a tv to get behind the tv console which is against a wall?). I looked and there was no dust. There are utensils, 1 microwave and 1 coffee maker for use by guest. He also removed the mattress from the bed to show some rings he called mildew which I examined and it turned out to be a foot print and 3 encircled rings made by a pen. (Why would a guest go to the length of removing a mattress from a bed?) I move my hand over the marks to show him that it was not mildew. Conveniently , he said he contacted VRBO and that Vrbo told him to tell me I can move him to the upstairs unit (the same unit they inquired 2 times about).Vrbo never called, emailed or texted me on his complain that day or any time after. I realized, on hearing what he claimed that Vrbo said, that this whole affair was just staged so i can move them to the upstairs unit which costs 5 times as much and to which they had inquired about in length as their main question was if someone was staying in the unit, and the cost. In all of this the registered guest never said anything to me about the place; never spoke to me as her companion led the charge of lies and deceit. They left that day as i told them that i did not have another unit to give them. 3 Weeks after spending 1 day, the guest wrote to me for a refund. I sent her a money order for 9 days she did not stay. I did not know that she had also requested a chargeback from Vrbo; thus, showing their dishonesty again. I would never rent to these people as they've perfected the art of bait and switch.
