It’s fine but should have paid the extra money for an hotel.
The first night I was abruptly woken up at 4:58 am with someone scraping my window and replacing the caulk. The remaining days I stayed there I heard a Big Bang like pipes rattling at 6am every day. I wasn’t able to get any restful sleep during my stay and you have no control over the temperature of your room.
We did not hear from this guest about any noise. Scraping windows to caulk at 4:58 am is extraordinary early. Perhaps this guest was dreaming.
Great location - just a clean bedroom/bathroom with private entrance.

Clean and convenient
The place was clean and good for 2 people and close to bus stops altough 15 min walk to nearest subway station. Coffee maker available but no coffee mugs!, the air fan was noisy at night. Host was really helpful with all instructions to get in and out.
Nice place for the money
My wife and I stayed here for three nights. It is a perfect location. You can walk or take public transit to most of the popular areas in Boston. The Starbucks on the corner was a plus. The only thing that the place needs is a box fan. We were there in June, turned out to be a little hot and humid. You can't control the temperature of your room. The thermostat is under lock and key in the hallway. The Trans' in the store downstairs have the key. I only gave this place 4 stars because the stairs to the third floor are steep and with luggage can be somewhat challenging. Other than that this is a great place for a short stay.
Great place for two of us
My daughter and I traveled to Boston for a long weekend. We didn't want to pay hotel prices, as we knew we would not spend any time in the hotel room. This place was perfect. It's small, but not cramped, and was perfect for what we needed: a place to sleep and shower. We liked that there was a small grocery and a Starbucks right next door. We also liked that Boston Common is a 1 mile walk directly up the road. Literally go out the door, turn left, and stay on Tremont for a mile. It was easy to navigate where we wanted to go from there. We'd stay here again. It was reasonably priced, clean, and quiet.
Patriot game weekend
The unit was clean and just big enough for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable. Great location, close to the trains and buses. The two flights of stairs would be challenging for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs but didn't impede us. We would stay here again for an long weekend. Thank you.
