It is convenient to many attractions and just outside your door is a plethora of the finest restaurants in Boston. Walk 13 minutes to Copley Square and just beyond is posh Newbury St. It is a 20 minute walk to the Boston Common and the Freedom Trail or you can take the metro, 5 blocks away. In just a few minutes you will be at Quincy Market, the North End and other attractions. The metro is also convenient to Fenway Park and the Boston and Cambridge universities. Nice place, good location right next to starbucks and close to the orange line
Caretaker was helpful let us in well after midnight due to delayed flight. Balcony is really nice to sit on and relax. only complaint is there was no hot water for showers even after letting the water run to warm up for 5-10 min.
So sorry about the hot water. If you had told us we would have repaired it.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was pristine in cleanliness. It had everything we needed and was well located. I would stay there again next time I am going to Boston.
Perfect For Two!
My wife and I stayed in here for a quick get away to Boston Thursday night through Sunday morning and we loved it. It's so hard to know if pictures on VRBO are accurate or how big the place will be but this property is just as advertised and the pictures are current. So much better than a hotel room and at a much lower price than any hotel we could find. Like lots of row houses, the property is skinny and deep but for some reason this one felt so much wider than most East coast properties. We love to walk everywhere so the location was perfect. 25 minute walk to Freedom Trail and Warf area and 45 minutes to North End (do not miss the North End if you are a foodie!!) On a major road so Uber has no problem finding you if you don't want to walk and the metro is easy to use and not far away. We plan on going back to Boston again soon and we will look for no other property. We will be back!
So here are the pro's and con's:
Big space. Does not feel like a studio
Balcony with comfortable furniture (unreal that it is only yours to use!)
Plenty of pot's and pans to cook on
Starbucks right next door
Loads of great shops and restaurants in the neighborhood
Ton's of windows
Con's (not very many and they are all minor except one)
#1 - On the fourth floor and the steps are steep, and tiny. If you are not in shape or have heavy luggage be prepared. They are no joke.
Bed seems smaller than a queen and a bit hard
Shower takes forever to heat up and water pressure is bad (not that big of a deal)
Owner (or the person who gives you the keys) doesn't speak English
Street can be noisy but hey its in the middle of a city what do you expect
We are glad they enjoyed their visit. The water does take a bit of time to heat and the stairs are steep as we post in our listing. The bed is definitely a queen. The owner speaks English with an accent and understands everything. He has owned the small market on the first floor for many years.

This apartment was perfect! The T is not far at all and we didn't feel unsafe walking at night. As well as an Enterprise within walking distance. Nicole's South End Pizza is right next door: cheap and delicious. The view from the patio is stellar of Providence Tower (Sky Bridge). If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back!
**Highly recommend Al Dente's Italian. It was hands down the best meal we had; the handmade pasta was unlike anything we have in Texas!!
Overall it was a great experience. Property was as advertised. Location was great also. Very easy to get anywhere a person would want to go.
The only downside is the stairs, not a huge deal but may be for someone that is not too mobile.
All in all a great place to stay and would definitely stay there again.
