Everything was as expected with the exception of the temperature of the swimming pool... we thought it would be heated. Since it wasn't, we didn't use it.
Gorgeous, but be prepared for stairs!
Clean, beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches such as plenty of kitchen items, towels, fans, and clothing storage.
The view is outstanding. However, it is high up and you will need to take a few flights of stairs, even with the elevator, which is hard to find (there are two elevators - use the one toward the back and then take a back route through some doors to get to the apartment). If you choose not to take that elevator, or if it is broken, you will need to take something like 6 flights of stairs.
Location is convenient, maybe a ten minute walk to the ferry and 5-10 minutes to most restaurants in the downtown Avalon area.
I would stay here again.
