Easy entrance & the garage was a real bonus! Everything was exactly as pictured & updated. We only wished we could have stayed longer!
A great place to stay for our 1st visit to Philly!
This apartment was a nice place for us to rest and relax in between adventuring around this great city. Everything looked just like the pictures. Checking in was very easy, since Frances & Jack e-mailed all the instructions we needed about a week ahead of our trip. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and the perfect size for the two of us. Walls are pretty thin, but we never had any major noise issues, so it didn't bother us. This place was the perfect distance to everything we needed, and we even did some walking venturing to nearby stores. It was nice to have toiletries there for us to use in case we had forgotten our own, having a full size refrigerator was a major plus because we tried so many different restaurants we needed the space for our leftovers! The shower/bathroom was very nice and clean as well. Having everything we needed in the kitchen was great (so sorry again for breaking one of your wine glasses) I think the only thing there was for us to complain about was how loud the water heater/air conditioning could be at night, but after the first couple times it starts to rumble around you get used to the sound and forget about it. Everything turned our great for our first visit to this great city and we hope to stay again in the future, thank you so much for letting us stay in your cute, clean apartment Frances & Jack we appreciate it!

Awesome place, great location
Great communication with the owner, great local location. Within walking distance to so many things. There are a few flights of stairs if that bothers you but place is in great condition. Loved being able to park our car in the garage. Small alley but garage is huge. Hallways and entrance smelled like weed sometimes and we could smell it by our door sometimes but some things are out of our control. They had lots of air freshener so we could cover the smell. Overall an awesome stay! Would definitely go back.
Beautiful apartment with a few hiccups
Upon arrival we were given incorrect info for accessing the apartment. We were able to eventually contact the owner and get updated info. However, in the interim we had a key that let us into the apartment. Not sure where the key came from, but it’s location led us to believe it was the key supplied by the owner. The key did get stuck in the deadbolt for some reason. This required the deadbolt to be physically removed for the duration of our trip. This led to a big open hole in our door which was a bit odd, but overall it was functional. Apartment itself was very clean and beautiful. Washer / dryer were located in the basement of the building. Not much in the way of furniture so main relaxing area is the bed. Water pressure was pretty low for the shower and sink. There was some consistent mechanical noises within the apartment (like a pump of some kind) that happened every 15 minutes or so. Subway and traffic noises could be heard outside, but wasn’t a major concern. Parking garage was a life-saver and worked out great. Proximity to City Hall, Reading Terminal Market, and many other locales was fantastic! Very easy and cheap to get a Lyft to any of these areas. We felt safe in the neighborhood and wouldn’t mind staying in this area of Philly again.
Clean and convenient
Makes a great base for exploring the city or accessing the sports complex. Easy walk to subway and restaurants. Clean, nicely updated unit. Rental process went smoothly.
Great place away from busy streets
This was a nice place to stay away from all the action in center city but close enough to metro or take a cab/uber there for a few dollars. The parking spot was a covered garage, which was great, but not good for large SUVs/trucks since you turn into the garage from a very narrow alley. Kitchen and bathroom were beautiful. Bedroom is spacious. This is at the top floor of a townhome so be prepared to climb stairs. We were able to hear neighbors from the hallway outside of the unit but did not hear anything inside.
