This 9 year old home has it's back in the mountains and faces south to the sea. Views are expansive, each sunrise and sunset an occasion to stop and appreciate. Flood and fire did not come near this home. All properties in area are 1 acre minimum. We have quiet neighbors on 2 sides across the canyon and none on the other. Massive deck for outdoor living has couch, chairs and 2 round tables.
Quiet. Locals come just to bike the road below house. Home is located on a private drive off main road.
Hardwood floors throughout. High ceilings. High speed internet with large Smart TV to stream movies, but no TV hookup.
Bedroom #1 off main room downstairs, has King bed with firm mattress. Walk in closet, expansive view of ocean from bed. Master bath has a deep tub that fits two and has ocean views. A separate glass sided shower. Double sinks.

Bed #3 1/2 bedroom upstairs is a favorite. It has expansive windows on 3 sides and a Murphy bed. Very small room, no closet. When bed is folded up it becomes a classy high table where we often go for sunrise coffee or sunset wine.
Expansive vegetable gardens supply veges, herbs and some fruit. Several chickens provide fresh eggs daily. Avocado, fig and lemon tress complete the pantry. Fireplace and plenty of wood and the central heat is new. On demand hot water heater means you never run out.
8 minutes drive to Montecito Village, which is also home to Oprah and other stars, or 15 minutes to anywhere in Santa Barbara. Montecito has my favorite hiking trails, lots of trees, elegant large estates, great dining and beaches. Santa Barbara adds Opera, Theater both live and and film, many festivals, parades, museums, shopping, and MUSIC! Ocean adventures.
